Remedy (Naruto Fanfiction)

Chapter 13:

Inagi POV

Warm sun soaked the earth. Clouds floated along the sky, never stopping. I'm on my way now to the Hokage office. And I know this all doesn't add up but, if you didn't know, I'm a double agent.

Of course no one really knows besides me and the Hokage. He requested that I'd keep an eye on two people, and a group of rouges. Orochimaru, Danzo, And the Akatsuki . I knew Orochimaru would be after an Uchiha, but I didn't know it was Itachi's younger brother. Even though he is the only remaining Uchiha besides Itachi and 'Tobi'.

I arrived at the Hokage's window. I knocked before sliding in. "Hokage-Sama." I bowed.

"Stand up child." His gruff voice spoke. I stood up, brushing my pants off. "So, any news?"

"Yes Hokage-Sama. The Akatsuki have nothing planned so far. But I'm afraid Orochimaru does. The curse mark. The rookie Sasuke Uchiha has been bitten and now possesses the curse mark. And so does my sister, Hitori Yukiko." I spoke.

"They both possess the curse mark? Do you have any theories of how that happened?" He asked, scratching the back of his head.

"Yes, I believe that T protected Sasuke, using her own body,  but Sasuke ended up getting it as well. I was there to catch T, so no further injuries besides the ones she got while fighting Orochimaru."

"I see." His voice was laced with frustration. "Stay out of the fight, I can't have you seen yet Inagi."

"Hai!" With those words I jumped out of the window and landed on the nearest building. I sat down with a sigh. Stay safe T. Don't be so reckless.

Hitori POV

My eyes fluttered open. I looked around. Grass swayed back and forth. Flowers danced in the sky. I definitely know I'm not in the training grounds. I sat up with a groan.

I wasn't in my usual clothes, I was in a white gown. No not a frilly one, just a white... dress. "Tori. My how you've grown, come here child." I stood up, shakily I turned around. A woman with light brown hair and crystal blue eyes stood before me. She looked like me, but a lot older.

"Wh-who are you?" I took a step back. I know this feeling though. I-I remember her from somewhere..

"Tori, it's me. Your mom." She smiled. My eyes widened and my breath hitched. My bad feelings just left me.

"My-my Mom?"

"Just come here already! I want to give my daughter a hug!" Her voice yelled angrily.

I ran over in a hurry and gave her a hug. I let go, hesitantly I asked, "But.. how do I know your really.. who you say you are?"

She smiled sweetly. "Of course I wouldn't let you have those horrid nightmares the curse mark gives you. I fought back against that. I needed to see you."

"Plus, you know that necklace you have? The one with the two charms?"

"Well, ya. You mean the one with the Senju symbol? And then there is this other charm on it." I pulled out the necklace. I keep it in my pouch. I can't remember where I found it.

"Your father gave that to me. We where a happy couple you know. We were inseparable, your father and me." She stated with a sad smile.

"Really? What was Dad like mom?" My eyes gleamed with curiosity.

"Well, Hitori. He looks more like your brother, Inagi. Except your father has black hair. He has your personality. Well, it's similar. He was very kind. I remember when there was a hurt squirrel. Your father brought it home and took care of it until it was better." She laughed.
