Dead & Gone

It felt odd being home at this hour but for whatever reason I was glad I was. I opened the door to my room and screamed at the sight.

"OH MY GOD!" I whimper.

I walked into my room slowly covering my mouth at the site.

For starters my Father's body hung from a rope tied to my ceiling light with blood dripping from his neck and chest onto the wood floor.

There was also words written on the walls in what I'm sure is his blood.

Revenge, Murder all written in blood.

Adeline felt the walls closing everything spinning,she dropped her back and rushed down the hallway to her Blake's room.

"OPen the door!!!"

No answer.

"BLAKE!!! PLEASE!" She sobbed.

Still no answer.

She opened the door and the room was trashed but still no Blake. She turned around and ran to her parents room.

"MOM??"

She clutched her stomach and sobbed silently.

Her Mother laid on her back on the ground with blood pouring out from her back.

"NO NO MAMA!!" She ran to her and held her head.

Her Mother's eyes were open and she tried to speak.

"I--should--have--told-d--you-u..."

She started to chock as blood began to pour out of her mouth.

Adeline laid her mother's head down gently on the ground and grabbed the house phone on the nightstand.

"911 what's your emergency?" A soft female voice said through the receiver after a few rings.

"Y-yes my parents--I don't know what happened I came home and there was blood everywheremybrotherismissingand I don't kn--

"Miss Miss everything will be okay but I need you to remain claim. What's the address?"

"4356 Eastwood line." Adeline felt her through throat closing up.

She turned to her mother tears streaming down her face.

"Miss were sending someone right away." The operator told her.

"Okay.."

She hung up and crawled over to her mother.

She cradled her head and sobbed.

"Please don't leave me Mom." She said just above a small whisper.

It was around the late afternoon. The sun abandoned me, leaving behind a gaping axe wound on the horizon.

The sky was a mix of blues,oranges,yellows and pink as the day began to end.

Sirens blaring and flashing red and blue lights.

I sat in the back of an ambulance. Spencer sat beside me trying to keep me company. But it really didn't help.

It felt like everything was crashing all at once and it wasn't slowing down anytime soon.

The paramedics arrived shortly after the call and they rushed my mom to the hospital but my Father was dead.

The sheriff talked to a few of his officers before turning and walking towards Adeline.

She knew him and Spencer since she was four when Blake and Spencer became friends,he was basically like her uncle.
