Ethan's POV

"Ethan it's not even that bad, I'm sure you'll find another girl" mom said, trying to comfort me. "All the girls will be over you, just like they were here" she said, pulling of the driveway.

"Don't you get it mom? I don't want to see other girls, I don't want to move!" I raised my voice.

"Ethan, calm down. It's not even that serious, besides dad is back in charlotte" Grayson smiled.

"This is why I didn't want to move! I knew I would get attached to somebody, I didn't even get the chance to tell her goodbye one last time." I frowned

"Ethan honey, I know it's hard, but in a week or two you just going to forget about her. You won't even remember her name, like that last girl you dated, after a day you couldn't even remember what she looked like" she laughed.

"Baileys different, I love her mom."

"Ethan, you don't even know what love is" Grayson and mom said in unison.

"She didn't even talk anyways" Grayson rolled his eyes.

"She talked to me" I said.

As we drove out of the neighborhood I started to wonder what she was doing and was she thinking about me like I was thinking about her.

Baileys POV

I laid up in my bed eating a bucket of ice cream, trying to forget about him. I wish I could talk to him, but I couldn't because a day after I woke up in the hospital, I deleted his number, he probably deleted mine too.

I laid down, closed my eyes and went to sleep.

---DREAMING---

I woke up in a grassy meadow full of flowers. In the distance I could see a boy standing by a pond. Almost like an instinct, I ran towards him. I kissed him on the cheek and held his hand.

"I love you" he said.

"I love you too" I smiled.

We went over by the pond and jumped in, laughing and splashing each other as hard as we could, all of a sudden dark clouds started rolling in, blocking out the crystal blue sky.

As we were getting out, the currents started to get stronger and stronger, I held out my hand but he couldn't reach it.

"Come on, your almost there!" I yelled.

He tried reaching for my hand a couple more times but instead he went with the current...down, he came up multiple times to catch his breath, but he kept going down.

"Goodbye baby girl" he said, and with that he never came back up from underneath the surface. My hand was still raised because I kept thinking any minute he was going to grab it and pull himself out, but he didn't.

Soon the sky cleared and the animals came out of their hiding places, as they were coming out of theirs, I went into mine, shutting everyone and everything out.

--END OF DREAM--

I woke up gasping for air, crying. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to see him just one more time. I disconnected my phone from the charger, checking the time. 9:58

I went past my mothers room checking to see if she was asleep, and she was. I grabbed her keys off the coffee table and ran out the door into the car.

I started the car and drove off into the darkness.

"Love is worth fighting for" I thought
