Starsand was up at dawn, pacing. Again. For the five hundred and twenty seventh night in a row. He knew, because he had personally counted them all. Not exagerrating. He growled to himself as he remembered the conversation that him and the two other hybrids who were with him had had the night before. "Oh, come on, Starsand. I know that you want to look for her, too. I mean, why wouldn't you?" "You're right. But I am also concerned with the majority's safety, the majority, being us." "You can't just turn your back on her like nothing's wrong! She's out there, probably being held captive somewhere, and we don't have the slightest idea where she is, but we should go after her anyway! And, no, I don't care what the squadron leader says! She's not the boss of me! Besides, Sunset's practically family! We can't abandon family, can we?" "No. But-" "Starsand, listen to me! I know you want to keep us all safe, but each moment that she's missing, there's a chance that she gets killed or something! I mean, really! SHE IS YOUR SISTER!! NOW GO AND FIND HER!!"

The 'she' that they had been talking about was Starsand's sister, Sunsetmaker, who had dissapeard three months ago when they had first arrived. It had happened suddenly. One second she had been there, and the next, she was gone. The only thing that Sunset had left was a necklace with a silvery moonstone pendant on it. The necklace, which Sunset had named Moonshine the day she got it, was her most prized possesion. Sunset even called the necklace Moony, like it could hear her, even though it couldn't.

She had never taken Moonshine off, until three months ago. It appeared to have been violently ripped or yanked off, because the chain that the pendant was on was broken near the clasp. Starsand growled at the memories, and decided to take a walk to clear his head. He walked down to the main hall, and bumped into Aryn. "Oh, hi, Starsand. What are you doing up?" "I couldn't sleep." "Worried about Sunsetmaker?" "Yeah, that and I'm trying to keep the rest of us safe from Tidepool and the Phantom Brotherhood."

"Ah. Well, I have to get the others up, anyway. Borealis wants to speak with you three about something that her spies have just informed her of. If you could go to the meeting room and wait there, that would be great." "Oh. Okay." Starsand walked into the meeting room and up to the throne. He saw that Borealis didn't seem to be sitting in it, and he didn't know where she was. Soon after, Aryn came in with the other three dragons. The NightWing hybrid walked up to the throne and tapped seemingly empty space with her talon.

"Borealis. The hybrids are here to speak with you." Aryn lifted her claw and stepped back. The IceWing RainWing hybrid slowly shimmered into view, and when she caught sight of them, she said, "Ah. You're all here." She glanced at Aryn, and Aryn nodded and left the room. "So, the reason I called you in here was because of some urgent news that I recieved from my spies a couple of hours ago. My spies tell me that not only is Tidepool trying to capture all the hybrids in the world, but that he also has a new weapon. A SkyWing, according to one the spy's reports. But apparently non-firescales."

"Like my mother all over again." Sky muttered. "Who is this SkyWing?" Sea demanded. "We don't have much information about him, but we do know that his scales are a reddish gold color and that he seems to have SeaWing stripes on his legs. We don't know if they're fake or real. We're still investigating that. We also know what he goes by." "And what is that?" "The SkyWing that Tidepool has employed goes by the name Infernodeath."

That was the end of the conversation. Borealis couldn't tell them anything else about the mysterious SkyWing, but Starsand noticed that Sea had turned a sick, green gray color, like the waves of the ocean in a storm. "Could you please bring the bucket over? I'm going to be sick." "Le Barf Bucket is on the way!" Sky announced, grabbing the bucket and handing it to Sea just as she let loose. After a few moments, she said, "I'm feeling a lot better now." Then, five seconds later, she turned the same color as before, puked again, and promptly fainted.

" Three moons. Was what I said that bad?" Borealis said, walking over to them. "Well, um, I think she knows who you were talking about. We all do, but she tends to take stuff like that a little more... violently." Sky said. "Ah. Well, you should give her some air." "Yeah, guys. You should listen to her and give me some air." Sea muttered, sitting up. "So, how do you three know that SkyWing I mentioned?" "Sea? You know him the best out of all of us, so you should go first." "No." "All right. So, we knew that SkyWing as a dragon named Spruce. He was a SkyWing SeaWing hybrid, and was a very strong fighter, as well as one of Searipper's close friends when we were in prison together. We escaped together, me, Sky, Sea, and Sunset, as well as Spruce. As we were leaving, we were cornered by some of Tidepool's guards. We fought them, and Spruce went down fighting. We thought he had died. He had gotten slashed on the throat, so he should be dead right now. How he survived, I have no idea. But why Tidepool would want Spruce to work for him I don't even know."

That last remark was punctuated by the sound of Sea barfing in the bucket for the third time in a row. "Probably because my brother is bonkers and nutso and whatever you could call someone who's crazy in the head." Dolphin said, poking his head into the doorway. "How about sick?" Sea replied, right before she puked again. After several more minutes of talking(which was interrupted by periods of Sea puking in the bucket), Sea said, "I'm going back to bed. It's too early to be up and something's not sitting right in my gut. Probably my dinner from last night or something. Enjoy acting like total morons and destroying the planet with your moron-ness." She walked back to her cave. After several minutes, the rest of the dragons started laughing so hard that they couldn't stop. Starsand couldn't remember the last time he had laughed like that. He didn't think he'd ever laughed that hard once in his life.
