Bethany Maxwell Pt.2

Percy PoV
Bethany is really clingy tonight, weird. Anyway we got to the party and she immediately pulled me to the punch table.
"So, Perce," she started "Why do you like Annabeth?" She finished.
"Why do you want to know?" I asked back.
"Just trying to start a conversation." She replied defensively.
"Oh, well her personality, the way she seems to fix everything, the way her eyebrows scrunch together when she thinks hard... and I guess her beauty is an added bonus." I gushed. I must of been mistaken, but I thought I saw her eyes roll. 
    We stood in awkward silence for a little bit until she said "Hey let's dance!" And before I could answer she was dragging me to the centre of the dance floor. We danced and danced until we both got tired.
"Dam it my feet hurt!" I sighed as we sat on one of the benches placed around the gym.
" Hey wanna go for a walk around the school?" She asked.
"Sorry I think I'm gonna call it a night." I said making my way to the entrance.
"Ughhhhhh! You are so oblivious!!!!!!! I obviously like you, Annabeth is obviously using you, and you are obviously not into her!!!!!" She yelled.
I was furious! She had no right to talk about my Annabeth that way! For a matter of fact she has no right to talk about me that way either!!
"If you really knew me you would never say something like that if you were trying to get me to like you!" I said, seething. She had a look of pure and utter shock on her face.
"Percy?" She said in a voice barley above a whisper. Then she collapsed on the tile floor.

Percy still

I rushed to lift Bethany into my arms and rushed her out the door. I put her in my car and speeded all the way back to my apartment.  I threw the door open and placed Bethany on the couch.
"Annabeth!" I called.
"Percy what's wrong?!" Annabeth asks coming out of her room.
"Holy Hephaestus." She said as she saw Bethany's limp body on the couch.

Annabeth PoV
As Bethany stirred I prepared myself. I had a suspicion that she liked Percy but when Percy confirmed I was ready to kick her out.
Bethany PoV
I sat up and opened my eyes, I was in Percy's apartment. My plan had worked! I looked up and there was Annabeth. Dam.
"You befriended me to get to my boyfriend, who you thought was head over heels for you and then fake fainted to get into his house when things weren't going as planned!?" She screamed as soon as she realized I was awake.
"To be fair... no nothing bye." I said and left. Now I know what true love looks like.
