Friday finally came, I set up a table and made sure everything was pink.
I invited the boys of course and also an old friend of mine, Jennie. Jennie was my best friend during high school she still hasn't replied to my message I'd hope she comes but you know we have all grown up we have our own lives. Taehyung placed down the last batch of cupcakes. I smiled, the door bell rang.
I ran to the door and opened it, all the boys arrived at once which overwhelmed me but I was so happy.
They all came in and gave me the biggest hug. "Happy late baby shower." Yoongi smirked, I shook my head "come here." I hugged him tightly. I saw namjoon looking at me with a proud smile he came over and hugged me. "You'll be the best mother."
He rubbed my back, I felt so happy having these guys here as my support. I turned and saw Jungkook looking around at the table of pink things. I walked over, "so do you want to tell them." I nudged his shoulder. He looked at me with his dark bold eyes, "no Areum."
Before I could say anything I was cut off by Jimin. "Here's to Areum and Jungkook." They all held up their glasses, we both smiled but I stopped. "Guys as you are going to be in my life onwards and see my baby girl grow we need to tell you something. Jungkook and I have broken up."
Everyone gasped. "We had some difficulties and have agreed to some arrangements but he is still her father so yeah."
"This is unexpected." Jin said, "yeah I'm so sad that your baby girl won't have parents together." Jimin said with a pouty face. Taehyung decided to step up next to me. "I also have an announcement."
All our eyes were on him, "I like Areum. I like her a lot and although Jungkook and I may be cut off I will stick by her side."
All the guys were shocked again, I was annoyed that he said that here. I looked and saw Jungkook's jealous face.
The door swung open making all of us turn our attention to it, my eyes widened. "Long time no see." Jennie said with a bright smile, she ran over to me and I embraced her into a hug. The guys hugged her as well. "You came!" I said, "of course I would never miss this. You and I dreamt of the days we would have beautiful children and husband's. So let me see your ring." She said moving her shoulders up with a bright expression.
I felt a bit uneasy after she said that, "actually Jennie. We aren't married, we have a lot to talk about."
She looked sad but nodded. "Oh well let's get to the presents!! I want you to open my gift." She gave me a bag. Jennie has always been the bright party type I loved that about her.
"Oh yes!." The boys all murmered as they grabbed their gifts. I opened one by one, I sincerely cried. Jungkook was beside me, we weren't talking but he opened them with me. I watched as he held up a little dress he looked at it as if he's wanted to see his own child in the dress for a long time. I felt sad that this had to happen now at an unstable time but then again I've been blessed.
