I was playing with Mina when the doorbell rang, "come in" I called out. The door opened revealing Taehyung I smiled as did he. He ran up to me and we hugged. "How are you?."
"I'm good and you?."
"Good good, awe Mina." He bent down and picked her up.
I watched him play with her and walked into the kitchen, "tea?." I heard him murmer a mm i nodded and turned on the kettle.
"So I've been thinking we should go on a date."
I said, he looked up at me. "For sure."
The kettle popped and I made us both tea, I took it to the loungeroom and placed it on the table followed by sitting down. "How's Jungkook" he questioned, "yeah good he really is different now actually.. I watch him with Mina and he looks like he has a purpose if you know what I mean."
"Yeah" he nodded.
Mina began crying, "Mimi" I picked her up and held her while swaying her she soon quieted down. "One sec" I said and walked Mina to her bed.
I placed her down and made sure she was safe and sound.
When I walked back to the loungeroom I noticed Taehyung looking at some photos on top of the fire place. "Senior year." I said making him jump a little, "heh yeah we were all so young." His thumb moved across the photo he looked mesmerized.
"Amazing how now I'm a mother and the guy i thought I'd end up with is you yet I chose a cheater."
Taehyung turned at this moment and looked at me, "you thought we would end up together?"
"Well I thought namjoon at first because we were so close but I totally had a massive crush on you when you liked karen."
"Bitchy Karen oh God I made a mistake... I missed out on someone precious."
He moved closer making me blush.
I felt a tingle inside as he touched my face and cherished it, "You're beautiful Areum." He whispered as he looked at my eyes I really did feel flustered.
As the fireplace got warmer we kissed it felt weird again but natural. When we stopped I laughed he looked at me confused "I'm happy" I said holding his hand "I know I'm a mother now but I do think a relationship with you can work."
Taheyung smiled "I love kids and I will support you with her anyday.. Can we make it public?" He smirked. I shut my eyes nodding while giggling he wrapped his arms around me into a warm hug it felt nice.
Taehyung's point of view

As I watched her laugh freely butterflies in my stomach rised. I felt something real why didn't this come sooner? Jungkook was my best friend and it's crazy to think how all of this happened and how far it's come but to think im with Areum and he's the father of her child is really a sticky situation but my feelings for her are strong I thought to myself. Areum was rested in my arms making me smile.. peaceful memories.
