*hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while but I had school tests and all plus being a vampire I had to feed a little hehe. But anyways this chapter is going to be more of getting to know all of Emily's friends and what's going on in the day world so here is the next part and hope you all enjoy*
I laid in bed tired of the last few days of tests that was in school...but we all know what happens after the tests...summer!. Lucy and I were so excited for the summer we had it all planned. We were planning to go to Washington, Oregon, and even Rome and all those places. I laid there in bed and as I remembered all the plans we had for summer just relaxed in my worm bed as the darkness left me alone until...
Suddenly a burst of light shot threw my window and onto my face as the loud bang of Lestat's music suddenly filled the room making me sit up quickly and cover my eyes and try to see what was going on. I looked around but everything I saw was a brght blur no matter how many times I blinked or rubbed my eyes. I tried to get up and close the window when I was caught by my blankets and fell to the cold hardwood floor. I groaned as the music was shut off and the light dissapeared.
"Geez Em it's noon...your so lazy" I herd Lucy say while laughing
"Noon?....what day is it?" i asked tired as I ripped the blankets off my feet and sat there leaned up against my bed
"It's Saterday Em...get up!" she yelled then laughed as she helped me off the floor. I sighed as I sat down on my bed and rubbed my eyes then put a clip in my hair pulling my hair back out of my face "come on get changed Jess has breakfast ready for us and were all going out tosay" she said making it an order. "Why?" I aksed tired as I looked up at her "because you need to get out" she replied and left. I sighed then got up and made my bed some what better then what it was a few seconds ago.
After that I stumbled to my closet and pulled out a black t-shirt that had a v cut and was tight around the waste and some normal dark blue jeans and converse. I grabbed my things and went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I got dressed and just left my hair down for it to dry.
I then pulled my shoes on and tied them and walked down to find Lucy and Jess talking an laughing in the kitchen. I smiled lightly and walked into there sight and they smiled "hey" Jess said smiling at me with her rediculously white teeth. He straight black hair fell down her shoulders and down to her back and sides while her eyes remained light brown. She hated to admit that she dyed her hair but we knew anyways.
She then walked around the counter then to me and gave me a hug. I hugged her back and my arms went around her waste completely. I smiled and pulled away and she looked at my hair "your going to dry your hair right?" she asked with a smile and light laugh. "Ha...uhhh no...well maybe when are we leaving?" I asked. "As soon as you dry your hair" she siad and laughed. I smiled and shook my head "can I eat first?" I asked and she sighed "I guess" she siad pouting then smiled and she walked over and handed me a plate of pancakes and we sat down and started to talk as I ate.
I laughed with them and talked with them. More then I have in days. Sence what happened at the club I've been scared to even leave to dorm. Scared that the two that I saw last time would be waiting for me...especially the girl. After hitting her with my book I'm sure she wants to tear me apart limb from limb....but none of that bothered me....not right now...and it seemed like it never would.
We talked for an hour until I finally finished then Jess pushed me to my room to dry my hair. I smiled and laughed at her as I walked up and grabbed my hair dryer then dryed the last of my hair and straightened it and just left it down. I turned everything off and looked at mysel one last time then sighed and grabbed a hair tie and left it on my wrist and grabbed a black over sweeter and left.
"So Jess you going to Lestat's concert?" Lucy asked as we sat at the coffee shop across the guarden. "If I wasn't I'd be the biggest looser ever" she replied smiling and laughing then took a quick drink of her coffee and so did Lucy. I however didn't get anything since I hated coffee and never drank it. "Well...Em hear has a persinal connection with Lestat himself" Lucy siad bragging about it. "Lucy" I said quickly and as quietly as I could not wanting anyone else to know about it. "What?" Jess asked quickly in shock and thn her eyes started to flicker from me to her "yeah" she siad happy about it "Lucy don't" I said again worried then I heard Jess scream into her sleeve in excitement. "Take me with you on your trip" she begged. "No we can't it's jsut us" i quickly siad and Lucy looked at me like I was crazy and sighed "no it's fine I have an extra ticket" Lucy siad calmly to her making her excited. I
I turned to face her and sighed then got up and started to walk out of the shop and they just followed me.
I stayed silent most of the walk around town and pretty much followed Jess and Lucy around town as they got cloths and food and all that. I walked and walked as they talked and then suddenly I heard Lucy call my name. "Emily?....you okay?....you've been quiet the whole time" she siad looking at me worried then moved to my side and hooked arms with me. "yeah...yeah of course I'm fine" i siad looking down then at her "hey I'm sorry for what I did earlier" she said calmly "I didn't know it bothered you so much" she said.
"It's okay....i-" I started but was cut off my Jess
"Oh come on you just want him for yourself don't you Em?" she asked mad
"what?....no he's dangerous-" I started but seh cut me off again
"yeah sure...you know what prove you had the guts to talk to him....walk into the forbidden ally" she said. The 'Forbidden ally' is the one that no one goes into...you know the one with the club on it?.
"no" I siad quickly scared
"Jess don't she's scared" Lucy said standing up for me
"no.....I want to see if she didn't freeze up like with all the other guys" she hissed while crossing her arms over her chest.
I looked at her then sighed "I've been down there twice....you wouldn't make it into that ally once" I hissed then realized how dark it was getting. "come on...time to head back" I said in a mono tone then turned to leave. "No Emily I'm daring you to go down that ally" she said and by the tone in her voiec she didn't like me not doing what she wanted "I'm not going in there and you cant make me Jess" i hissed and we all got in the car.
the drive was long and silent...and all out tense. "I would of went down that ally" Jess mumbled from the back seat. How I wanted to tell her she couldn't because she was to scared and Lucy and i knew she was scared to death of that place like every other person in this town but I siad nothing...otherwise...she would've taken that as a dare and would of done it to prove something.
Even if she was bossy and mean I would never dared anyone to go down that ally...it's dangerous down there...and anyone could get hurt or killed....me?...I was just lucky....but no matter how bad someone was....I would never tell them to go down the 'Forbidden Ally'...no one deserves that pain.
*Hey guys I hope you all like this one. Gives you an idea of what Em's really like and the people she hangs out with. But this proves that not all people turn into what they hang out with.
