That noise is the only thing I have been hearing while the world around me is black. I am in a coma from that truck ramming my car. Feeling like I am falling through a black abyss and not being able to crawl out is a hard emotion to feel. I hear muffled voices until one finally clears......Nico. "Please wake up Eva you can't leave me here alone" My head is swirling and my eyes want to water but they can't."Just give me a sign you can hear me because I love you and I am not losing you to a drunk truck driver." He loves me. I am resurfacing feeling happiness overwhelming me. "I love you too"
Nico POV
When I heard hospital and Eva in the same sentence I felt a emotion I do not usually have......FEAR? Why do I feel like part of me is breaking when she hurts. The way she looks at Leo through anger you see lust same with him. I can't compete with him and she is a phoenix one of the top supernaturals in the world. I sit by right next to her and think of what was her favourite song other than Cardi B then Charlotte pushed me out of the room with tears in her eyes rushing to eves bedside. She plays a song that seems to have a big impact on her because her eyes flutter open with tears falling out.
Charlottes POV
I rush in the room pushing Nico out. My best friend is in a coma and there is nothing I can do. Wait the song she sang for her little brother when he was in a coma and she had to let him go. This is the only song that made her cry and the only thing that would wake her up.
Faded was a huge part of her life and whenever it came on in public she had to leave the room so she wouldn't seem weak to people around her. I am crying than I see her eyes flutter open with tears streaming down her face and her knotty hair strangled across her grey eyes. She hugs me and starts bawling in my arms."Don't ever give up on me." She whispered into my shirt. " I won't I will always be here even when you don't want me." Is what I replied she smiled and started crying in my arms. I pull her closer and we fall asleep on her hospital bed not knowing Nico listening to that whole conversation with glassy eyes.
