Amelia's POV
School finally came to an end and I raced to the locker room to start basketball practice. I changed into short and old volleyball tee that was large for me. After lacing up my Kyrie 3's I walked into the gym and grabbed a ball while waiting for everyone else to show up.
Usually Char will come and help with practice but not today cause she has practice. The girls start coming into the gym and shooting around on the hoops.
Jess comes and we play a quick 1v1 before coach walks in the door.
"Ladies we got to work hard the year. I want nothing but excellence from all of you. Now let's get this practice started. PEARSON RUN THE WARM UP. ROSE YOUR GONA HELP LEAD."
He voice booms through out the gym.
We jog over to one end of the gym and I lead a couple of stretches. Then we do two lines back and forth.
" Alright Guys butt kicks" I say
"Lunges"
"Step step squat"
"Open and close on the way back" I say leading out the warm ups.
Coach calls us over and we start running lines with our basketballs.
We end up doing 12 lines before coach says to go get some water.
I was walking to re fill my water bottle when I hear some on say
"You look good playing basketball."
I turn around and see Noah.
"Shit you scared me and thank you I'm trying" I say looking down with a small blush.
"Well your blowing all of them outa the park. Coach really likes you on the team" he says
" thanks Noah it means a lot" I say filling up my water bottle.
"no problem, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school." He asks me.
"I'm getting froyo with Grayson and Charlie. Wanna come." I say.
"Sure I'd like that." He says.
"Alright I'll see you after practice. Bye Noah" I say heading into the gym.
"Okay Bye Lia see you soon" he says before I step into the gym.
I head into the gym and shoot some hoops while waiting for the others to come back.
A few minutes pass and Charlie comes in to help out with practice. I guess she ended her practice early. Her and I shoot around together laughing at how I missed one shot and the ball hit her head.
-TIME PASS TO AFTER PRACTICE -
I went back to the locker room and changed back into my clothes I wore at school earlier. I texted Noah telling him to meet me in the parking lot. Charlie and I meet up with Grayson and Ethan next to Charlie's car.
"So how was practice ?" Grayson asks me.
"Really good coach seems to like me and so do my teammates, what about you guys" I ask him looking around for Noah.
"The same as usual got some new players and that's bout it, Lia are you looking for someone" he asks me
Shit I did t ask them if Noah could come.
"Uhhh yeah so I made a new friends and I sorta invited him for froyo with us is that okay." I ask.
"Yeah that's cool" Charlie says
I see him in the parking lot looking around trying to spot me. I wave my hand up and he sees me. He starts to jog over.
"Hi" I say to him
