"That was a good game!" Goggles exclaimed has he held his Splattershot in one hand, swing his arms back and forth with the rhythm of his feet. Goggles and his teammates Glasses-kun, Headphone-chan and Bobble-chan had just finished a League battle, in which they won stupidly somehow. "Sometimes I even wonder how we win games in the first place." Glasses said, pushing his glasses upwards before they slipped off his nose. "Are we even at the right Ranks to be playing League?" Goggles shook his head and told Glasses, "Who cares what rank you are in League? I find it tons of fun playing ranked type battles with my besties anyway!" Bobble-chan said a faint "Yeah!" in back.

"Hehe, never change Goggles. Never change." He said smiling. "I already now that!" Goggles then hit Glasses on the shoulder, which caused his glasses to fall from his face. "GAAAHHH!!" Glasses yelled, scrambling around for his glasses until he found them and put them on, hoping nothing was broken. After he was for sure that nothing was broken, he then proceeded to yell at Goggles for being reckless, in which Goggles just spaced in. As for Headphone-chan, she was there watching in the back with Bobble-chan, her mouth hanging open. "Boys these days... They can be such a pain, right Bobble?" She looked over to Bobble-chan, in which she was just standing there smiling, completely oblivious to what Headphone just said. "Not you toooo." She groaned.

After Glasses stopped yelling at Goggles, now knowing that Goggles was not even paying attention, they all agreed to go get some food at Crusty Sean's. (Please be aware that this is after the competition, in which Blue Team won.) Goggles being that one idiot that does stupid stuff, he order tons of food that they almost all barely had the money for. They couldn't even eat it all and they split the left overs to each other, which was a lot. "Now look what you've done Goggles. Now we barely have any money." Glasses sighed, giving a not-so-menacing death glare to Goggles, who didn't even pay attention to. "I thought I could finish it all because I had a big appetite, but I guess I was wrong Hehe." Goggles said, scratching the back of his head like they would get all the money they just spent back, which off course wouldn't do the trick.

"Well, it's getting dark. We should all be heading home." Glasses said, standing up from his chair. The others did has well gathering up their weapons, as they began to walk out of Inkopolis Square to their homes. The gang had to go their separate ways, with Bobble and Headphone chan heading to the right, Glasses to the left and Goggles still down the road. As Goggles continued to his house, he heard his phone buzz in his pocket. He took it out, slowing down his pace, and saw it was Rider trying to call him. He answered it, in which he was instantly greeted with yelling.

"WHERE THE F*CK WERE YOU ALL DAY!?" Rider yelled from the phone. Goggles had no idea why in the world Rider was yelling at him, matter the fact caring and wondering where he was all day either. He simply answered by saying, "I was playing Turf Wars and playing League with my best friends." Goggles got his keys from a hole that he covers up with a rock and unlocked the door, going inside waiting for Rider's answer to what he said. "Oh my freaking God..." Goggles could hear Rider said under his breath has he locked the door behind him. "We had to battle each other with our teams today, YOU IMBECILE!" Rider once again yelled, making Goggles hold his phone away from his ear at a arms length.

"Oh I must have forgot Hehe. Sorry!" Goggles said cheerfully, in which it was to cheerful for Rider's own good. "At least let us battle tomorrow..." Rider said, clearly not amused. Goggles said yes and they arranged a time in the morning so they can get it over with so that he doesn't forget again. "Also, I WILL BEAT YOU TO A PULP TOMORROW!" Rider yelled, Goggles hearing a slam cut short has the call ended. "Okay then..." Goggles said quietly has he went upstairs even though no one heard it. He went into his room, putting down all of his stuff and then went to the bathroom. Goggles looked into the mirror, that smile he's had on all day still plastered on his face. Though, the corners of his smile were starting to stagger a bit. The blue inkling sighed, letting his smile go and he now looked sadder, in which is not a usually look for him in public.

He rubbed his cheek bones with both hands. The pain in his face was really getting on his nerves now from smiling so much. It made him wonder how Bobble can smile almost endlessly without even looking near distress. Since rubbing his cheeks bones didn't do any good, he just sighed and started getting ready for bed, hoping that the pain will go away has he slept. As soon as he was done and everything was in place for the next morning. He went under his blankets, looking toward the desk that was next to his bed. He tried closing his eyes, but he found himself opening them once more. He turned the other way, now facing the wall and then tried sleeping.

A few minutes after, Goggles' eyes once again opened at a quick pace. He didn't have a nightmare, neither did he feel scared at all. A look of distress started washing over his face as Goggles kept turning around in his sleep, but kept waking up no matter how hard he tried to find a comfortable position. He started at the ceiling, hoping that his eyes would droop down and he would sleep, but that's not what happened. Instead, the distress inkling found his eyes watering up. Nearly gasping in surprise, he immediately stopped himself from crying, wiping from under his eyes to make sure none of the tears may fall. He felt so hopeless, he couldn't even sleep properly. Knowing that there was no other way to fall asleep, not even milk would help him, he did the only thing that put him to sleep like nearly all the other nights.

He took one of the pillows he barely sleeps on, hugged it close to his chest, buried his face in it and cried into the pillow.
