As I cried myself because of what happened last night, I can't help thinking that Ethan would be gone. I don't really know if my mother is still alive or if she end up like my brother. I need to get out of here but I also need answers. I searched the compartment for any clues that might piece all these things together. It's like they knew something was going to happen. Ethan was ready and this small room is built because of it. I stumbled upon a note hidden in a secret compartment inside the wall that reads:
"Dear little Sister
If you're reading this now, this means they know where you are. The Lost Queen Thomasine Abell, the wife of the late King George, is your mother. You're Princess Agnes Wolfe, daughter of the late King George; your father. You're the hope people's been waiting for and the only one keeping the planet alive. You're part of Lineage. I'm sorry this is the only time I talked about your true identity. I may not be your brother by blood but I'm proud that I was able to protect you. Look for Captain Martin Pole, he'll teach you and will take care of you. Get your rightful throne back. If you're wondering why you don't know your real family, just ask him.
Farewell beloved sister.
For the Lineage. Gaia's bloods save Ephrath.
Yours truly...Ethan"
Why? How can this be? My mother's a Queen? Why did they hide my true identity and how can this be? I can't be a lost princess, it must be a mistake. These questions elude me until dawn.
The sun's risen up yet no one still found me.I need to get out of here. I tried to kick the door open, it must've been blocked by the debris outside from the blast last night then I heard footsteps. A Night Owl is still searching for me. This can't be right, why'd he removed his armor like a costume. Shit...he's coming towards the small room I'm in. I'm terrified of what might happen next. As he unblocks the doorway and opened the door I kicked him so hard in the face and restrained him to the ground, I placed my knees in his back while twisting his arms like Ethan taught me. I recognize the emblem on his necklace.
"Who are you?!" I ask eagerly and then a rugged man shows up riding a hybrid horse saying...
"He's my son."
I recognized him. The eye patch, his bloody beard, wears the rugged clothes from his last visit.
"You're the Captain." I said as I let go of his son. He got up and held his arms that I twisted. He nodded silently and sighted his son struggling to get his feet up.
"My name's Charles, son of Martin Pole. I'm here to rescue you." he introduced himself.
He has piercing green eyes, prominent stubble and undercut hair tattoo, raven-headed, and wears the same rugged outfit as his father. His voice sounded a little husky and portrays a poker face while talking.
"I'm sorry Charles but I'm no damsel in distress." I apologize to him while looking him from head to toe sarcastically.
"You're not! My father just ordered me to." he says to me while mounting on his horse; looking at me in disgust. His eyes marbled away from me.
I think I offended him or that just his face. I'm not a social person because all my life has been only with Ethan and my mother. He sighs but then he reaches his hand out to me as if I was to ride with him.
"Ride with me or take a hike, the Fort is miles away from here."
That was rude. I may as well take a hike but then again I'm exhausted from the sleepless night.
"Fine, I guess I will ride with you but only cause I need to." I said while I took his hand to mount the hybrid horse.
"You're gonna be wearing this." He said while handling me a bag with draw-strings.
