Rushing down the halls towards my first class of the day, which I just so happen to be late for I burst through the doors "Mr. Shiró, glad to see you made it" looking at the teacher I smile sheepishly, making my way swiftly to my seat at the back of the room "As I was saying... the demon realm is very much like our own, except-" he begins, coughing into my hand I raise it shortly after "Dustin, this better be good" he says boldly, nodding I lean back into my chair "Actually Estreal isn't anything this like world, In fact it is much larger and full of dead plants, also they have a red sky rather than a blue one." I say, watching everyone turn to look at me I clench my jaw "my... old man went there once" I lie through my teeth, looking at my desk "Thank you for those interruptions Shiró, but I'm the teacher here." He growls, looking at him I furrow my brows.
Walking through the halls towards the exit of the building I hear chatter erupt through the area "Hey Shiró!" Turning I watch that red haired girl approaches me, with three guys and two girls behind her "Sorry who are you?" I ask, tilting my head, unaware of Magnus who's stood behind me "Kaya Drayton, spirit tamer." she growls, nodding I shrug lazily "okay?" I murmur turning around Magnus stands in front of me "Dust, she wants to speak to you" he whispers, turning back around I arch an eyebrow "excuse my rude pal here he's not really a social butterfly" Magnus smiles, shrugging I quickly shove my hands in my jacket pockets "that's a nice sword you got there, mind if I take a look?" She asks, clenching my hand around my sword's handle I shake my head "I... I don't think that's a good idea.." I murmur, turning away and walking towards the exit.

Walking down the path I look around the midnight skies, diving into a bush when voices are heard "Don't you think that new guy is weird, Kaya?" Peeking through them I'm unaware of the fact my yellow eyes are glowing and have slitted, I tilt my head at the demon creeping up to them "Byron.." I growl quietly, watching him raise his sword I draw my own, the purple and black flames reappearing I smash the sword out of byrons hands, my purple and black horns visible, I dig my heels into the ground, standing In front of the group of Students "What the-" One of them gasps, holding my hand out I hush quietly "Dust-" he begins, kicking him in the chest with all my strength, he flies into the forest "Shiró, mind explaining?!" Kaya hisses, sheathing Nyx I turn to the group "that was Byron, the demon prince of Estreal." I mumble, watching the group look at my tail and my fangs "no, we know that, what we don't know is what the hell you are?" A pink haired male growls, puffing his chest out, jolting back I furrow my brows "Are you a demo-" a brown haired male begins, being cut off by me "Say it! I dare ya." I hiss, watching him back off I calm myself "Just forget you saw anything" I murmur walking towards where Byron had landed I place my hand on his chest "Do not test me Byron. I will obliterate you!" I shout, a small gate to Estreal appearing beneath him he screams "Brother! I Will Tell him! KING GODRIC WILL FIND YOU!" He shouts before the gate closes "so dramatic..." I sigh, placing my hand over my eyes in irritation "he called you brother" turning I see Kaya still stood on the path, the rest of them gone "everyone says things they don't mean.." I try to cover up for my idiot younger brothers actions she shakes her head "son of Satan, stop trying to deny it." She growls, dashing towards her I cover her Mouth "can you shut up? You do not know what you are talking about!" I hiss, watching her eyes widen I shake my head "you keep this silent, you got me?" I grumble watching her nod I pull my hand away, looking to where Byron had previously been.

Feeling something jump on my chest I open my eyes faster than I ever have "Move it!" Jolting backwards I clench my jaw "what the hell!" I shout, the navy blue cat hissing "Aren't you rude!" He says, feeling my eyebrow twitch I clench my fists "don't call me rude! I was sleeping!" I retaliate watching the cats eyes widen "you can hear me?" He asks, nodding I continue to clench my fists "of course I can hear you!" I shout, watching his face light up he steps closer towards me "so your a demon!" He cheers, furrowing my brows I groan as I fall on my back again "not something I'm proud of" I murmur, watching the cat bounce excitedly I prop myself up on my elbows "your a demon?" I ask, the cat nods enthusiastically "my name is Milo, I'm a demon pet, usually we have owners but mine left..." he says, sadness evident in his voice, petting his head he looks at me "It's okay Milo, Sometimes people leave, but others come." I say more softly now, watching the cats eyes light up he bounces happily "Will you be my owner, demon boy!" He asks, falling on my back at his words I groan "demon boy..." I murmur.
Walking into class with Milo sat on my shoulder someone points to him "how the hell did you tame a familiar!" The guy with pink hair gasps, shrugging I walk towards my seat, catching Kaya looking at me uneasily she quickly looks away "What's her problem?" Milo asks, shaking my head I sigh "she knows I'm the son of Satan" I whisper, hearing him make a noise of acknowledgement "so the mortal girl is scared of you?" He asks, nodding I shrug as I take my seat "I guess, I mean there's nothing to worry about, it's not like i want to destroy this realm, I'm nothing like Godric is" I say quietly, looking out the window "I never will be.."
