If there was one thing my demon friends and other demons know it's that if a member of the Royal family possesses one of their sacred weapons, they can destroy an entire dimension with one swift movement, fortunately enough for the other dimensions, The royal sacred weapons are entrusted with certain people who have sworn their lives to protect them, not only are they hidden but to destroy an entire dimension with a sacred weapon means you have to spend years and years building up the power and the shear strength of the weapon to do so.
Holding Talon tightly in my hand as I walk alongside Shea, Rowan and Ilya "How does it feel?" Rowan asks as he gestures to the glowing weapon in my hand "Powerful. I forgot what it felt like to hold my sacred treasure" I reply as I lift it up, the three demons jump back almost as if it was going to tear apart the dimensional planet right than and there "I haven't even activated my power yet guys" I laugh as I push my hair out of my eyes they raise their hands in defence "That thing is dangerous, especially in your hands." Shea admits as Rowan and Ilya nod "you aren't actually going to use that in hunting" Ilya mumbles, scoffing I sheath Talon casually "of course not" I reply as I unsheathe Nyx I smirk "come on. I promised Milo I wouldn't be long." I scoff as I sprint off into the woods.
After having piled a group of dead deer, I stretch "That was fun, but we should head back" I murmur as the three demons drop down beside me "yeah, I could do with some ramen or something" Shea grumbles, laughing as we exit the forest, I stop dead in my tracks as Faye turns to face us "Hello Big brother" She chirps, unsheathing Talon, black and Purple flames seep from me and begin to form an aura around me "Calm yourself Dustin. I'm not here to fight." She smirks, growling she looks to Talon and arches an eyebrow "you have your sacred weapon. I guess we should be careful then" she hums, pointing the tip of the sword out, the black and purple flames drip onto the ground as my eyes glow, she sighs "I hate that we fight now, we use to be so close" She exhales heavily "well excuse me for not wanting to be apart of his psychotic little plan any longer" I snarl, looking to the side at Shea, Rowan and Ilya who stand glaring at her "hello Shea, looking as handsome as ever" she smiles, the blue haired demon biting his thumb at her "Very well. It was nice to see you big brother" she smiles as she disappears out of thin air.
Closing the door I lock it immediately "you know that'll do nothing" Ilya grumbles as Kaya and Ayla appear "what's going on?" Ayla asks as she reaches for her sword "we saw Faye" Rowan mumbles, Aylas eyebrows arching as she places a hand on my back I rest my head against the door as Milo curls around my leg, my tail left lounging on the floor rather than wrapped around my leg like it usually it "What's the big deal?" Kaya asks, Shea turning to face her "Faye and Dusty were the closest out of all of his siblings, though she's among the younger side of the family, she is the second strongest child of Godric." Shea explain, walking over to the couch I fall onto my back "Yeah, Her powers are similar to mine, Limitless and Ethernal" I mumble, realising the confusion in Kaya I sigh "Ethernal, Its the legend that is my power. Imagine you have a power like dark magic, then times that by infinity." I explain, watching kayas eyebrows raise she shakes her head "if you have a power that strong why can't you just take your father down" she says, Ayla stepping in "its not as easy as that, Dustin has no control over Ethernal, we've only ever seen him use it once and that was when he fought the Akainian army all by himself" she says sternly, nodding I sigh "But I'll get control over it, eventually." I mumble.
Walking beside Ilya down the hallways of the academy, I yawn casually, both sets of my fangs visible to the students around me who often cast glances at me "I'm beat, who knew doing normal lessons could be so boring" Ilya groans as he yawns too, his own set of fangs on show "Literally everyone here, we don't believe in schools back home" I reply, closing my eyes involuntarily when I'm almost knocked to the ground "woah, watch where your going." I growl looking down to a brown haired female, she looks at me as if she's a deer caught in the headlights "I-I'm sorry" she stammers, shaking my head I rest it on the palm of my hand "no, it's okay, it was me not watching where I was going" I mumble, watching her smile a purely innocent smile "why are you here, your like really little." I hum, Ilya watching quietly in the background "I want to go to hell to defeat the demon king and his empire" she says, furrowing my brows I tilt my chin upwards "Right.. but your so little" I repeat, watching her tilt her head I clench my jaw "Esme! You gotta stop running off like that!" Looking to the side at Kaya and Beth, Their eyes falling on me and they immediately freeze "Uh sorry guys... but I met a really friendly guy!" She chirps, rolling my eyes I turn to Ilya who's yawning, hooking my thumb underneath the strap of my bag I walk away casually 'is that what she thinks I am, 'friendly', huh...' shrugging as I walk past Kaya I stop at the side of her "She won't make it against the demons" I mumble before I continue walking.
"Oh come on! What kind of game is this!?" Shea shouts at Magnus who's holding the game piece in his hand "It's monopoly?" He responds, scowling at the cat game piece that Magnus has thrown my way I look down to Milo who's curled up on my leg "Your freaking out because you lost your money?" Rowan asks, the blue haired demon turning to face the brown haired one "I'll show you freak out in a minute" He growls, laughing I lean back casually as Shea grabs Rowan "Let my boyfriend go you animal" looking over to the doorway, my eyes fall on Beth and a familiar red head, her friends huddled behind her, glancing to Shea out of the corner of my eye who's staring at me I nod, the blue haired demon dropping Rowan to his feet, standing I move Milo up to my shoulder as he stretches "We need to talk." Kaya says walking in past Beth, her friends standing in the doorway awkwardly.
"Wait so the academy holds a festival where students battle it out to the max with no worries?" Rowan asks, watching Kaya nod I sit back casually "It's called the Ukurokion Festa." Beth adds in, looking to Shea who's eyes are glowing with a mischievous bloodlust "Shouldn't the academy be worried about death?" Ilya asks as he crosses his leg over his other, Ayla stood by watching "No, the school have a team of highly trained medics who know ancient spells of Healing" Kazuki adds as he sits beside Kaya, I watch silently "Dustin, what you think about this?" Shea asks after the room falls to silence, standing now I look to Milo who's asleep on the floor. Unsheathing Talon every single one of the demons jump to the sides of the room, Rowan pulling Beth with him, the humans looking at them in confusion I raise my hands "It's not even activated!" I shout, the demons relaxing whilst Ayla gestures for me to give Talon to her cautiously, handing the weapon over I sigh "Why are you all so scared of him when he wields that weapon?" Felix asks, Shea stepping out from the corner of the room "maybe because with one swipe he could demolish this entire dimension." He says, sitting down I sigh "how?" Beth asks, clenching my jaw I look to Ilya "I swear we already told this to you guys? Sacred weapons are made and given to all of the royal family for their first birthday. But are entrusted to specific demons who have sworn an oath to not give the weapon to the demon of royalty unless the holder thinks it's right." Ilya explains, looking to Ayla she smiles and nods "Ayla was Dustins entrusted demon" he says, smiling I look to Talon.
