Downhill (An Eddsworld Zombie Apocalypse Au)

Half Sunk

It had been a week since Edd and Matt met. The short cola-boy seemed...okay? Matt still didn't know what to think of him. He had literally no idea what to think of him. Edd always seemed...off? Edd was weird, but right. He and Matt quickly became close friends in only a few days.

"EDD, WHAT HAPPENED?!"

Edd glanced at Matt, giving a confused smile, "What is it?"

Matt sighed, getting annoyed, "Edd. Someone stole all of our stuff."

"No they didn't, Paprika." Edd smiled, "The walls are here, so are the chairs...only the valuable stuff is gone, not everything." He never stopped smiling. Creepy.

Matt looked around, all the weapons and food were gone except the bat he was still holding. He growled in annoyance and grabbed his hairbrush, "At least this is still here..."

"I told you not everything was gone." Edd hugged Matt for no reason. "Um...yeah..." Matt lightly petted Edd's head, "We should...go get more stuff..." He started going outside. Edd followed happily, still smiling.

They walked through the forest for hours, walking past nothing but trees. Nothing useful, just trees. After hours of useless walking, Edd grabbed Matt's hand, "I think I found something!"

"Um...Edd-" Matt was suddenly being dragged, as Edd was running somewhere, still having a tight grip on Matt's hand. Edd dragged him through the woods, until they reached something. A small dock just outside the forest. And there was a half sunk ship next to it.

"Edd, we were no where near this. How did you-..." Matt gave up. By now, should he even ask questions? Edd ran towards the boat, "Paprika! There's a lot of stuff in here!" He ran inside the boat, using a hole in the side as a door, "Including our stuff!"

Matt ran in and looked around, it was true, their missing stuff was right here. "Edd, do you know what this means?"

Edd looked up at him, "It means the guy who lives here stole our stuff, and that means I'm gonna cut him open and rip his insides out."

Matt was suddenly scared, "W-what? N-no. W-well...yes? The guy who stole our stuff lives here...but..."

"WHAT!?" Edd squealed, "JUST SAY IT ALREADY!"

"...It means we're not the only survivors..."

Edd frowned for once, "Are...are you serious? That's the big surprise? That's blatantly obvious, Paprika. Do you have to be so dramatic about it?" 

Then, they heard footsteps behind them.
