Being: What does any of that mean? Anusapien? Vertex Era? Cycle 011?

Prim: Please proceed to the Lower Catica Youth, Section: Inner V-1 Basin Law and Regulation to continue.

Being: Oh right, sorry.

The cube displays a holographic box with a user-friendly scrolling screen. It is long descriptive text listing the terms and conditions. The being is impatient.

Being: Do I really have to read every word of this? I just have a few questions.

Prim: You must be notified of all Interstellar Law when it is presented to you. The degree of your questioning is irrelevant in this process. I can provide a summarized audio representation if you'd like.

Being: Yes, that would be great.

Prim: Very well. Open. These laws pertain exclusively to the Inner V-1 Basin and more specifically to the Lower Catica Youth Region. These have been translated to their most basic form. Firstly, all beings in this region MUST finish reading and understanding these laws. There are no exceptions. Secondly, all knowledge inquiries are answered in correlation with one's own tolerance. Any question that is deemed inappropriate to answer or inconceivable to the user are immediately terminated. For the safety of the user, a question is lawfully permitted to be made null and void at any time due to limited understanding capability. Lastly, for the safety of the user and those around him, all knowledge obtained is to be kept to oneself. You may cease this educational session at any time. There are consequences to all actions outside of the Primordius informational hub. Any destruction or deconstruction of the hub is futile and punishable by an interstellar council. Being: Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Prim: You are now free to roam around my cortex. What can I help you with?

Being: Well now that I can ask I'm at a loss for words to be honest.

Prim: You live on an interesting planet, I presume? Would you like to access files for Eos-Based Rock Tundra 8?

Being: There are so many interesting mysteries on this planet alone. We can start there, but what to tackle first?

Prim: I have extensive knowledge on the native origin of life archived if you'd like.

Being: I know about a lot of that. Everything came from stardust. Microbes, dinosaurs, so on and so forth. Eventually that made us, I thought. But they always talked about a missing link. It was a gap between man's evolution from ape. Care to elaborate?

The being leans forward in anticipation.

Prim: Humanoids have existed across the star systems since only a few thousand years after this universe's happening. The Original 9 humanoid races were captivated by their own genetics. So much that they insisted on leaving parts of them in every corner of this universe. Upon reaching biological supremacy, they quickly used condensed components of their DNA to fuse with nether creatures. The humanoids you see today are mostly hybrids. Eos-Based Rock Tundra 8 was discovered by the Anu, of the Original 9. Primates were a conceptually ideal candidate for genetic fusion, already sharing many similarities and chromosome compatibility. After centuries of experimentation, the natively-known homosapien was created. They were pure beings with a strong understanding of nature and their home planet. Post-corruption, the beings of Eos-Based Rock Tundra 8 continue to thrive here despite minor flaws in social connectivity.

Being: Post-corruption?

Prim: This rock has become infamous within your sector. Scientists of your species created a functional but unstable particle collider, resulting in a quantum dimensional shift that rippled for billions of light years. Podverses crumbled under the shift and became intertwined with their neighboring universes. This caused instant-fused Duoverses, and so began the Post-Vertex Era.

Being: So we caused the destruction of a universe?

Prim: The only Type 1 civilization to do so successfully. Senior guidance would've been required had your species never severed ties with the Anu of the Original 9.

Being: Before we go on, I must say that every bit of information you give me leaves me with even more questions. Podverses, Duoverses, I mean, where do I begin?

Prim: A Podverse is budding universe stemming from their particular zone. A Duoverse are two Podverses that slide or blend together.

Being: I suppose that will have to do. Remind me again what happens if you tell me more than you're regulated to?

Prim: You would be putting yourself and others in danger. To attempt to learn what cannot be comprehended by your mind is futile and in some cases fatal.

Being: You can never know it all I guess. Back to what you were saying before then. When did we cut ties with the Anu?

Prim: It was 1946 after the first atomic bombs had been tested. The Anu met with your commander-in-chief and insisted that the weapons be decommissioned and destroyed. Your species was more interested in power and currency, driven by an immature desire to experiment. The Anu vowed to never intervene again, but they would take their technology with them. In the pursuit of true science, they made it law to stay away from your species. This enabled your nature to continue uninterrupted, fortifying your existence as experimental science. There is currently a disconnect. Now your species practices what is referred to as Silent Science.

Being: What's so silent about it?

Prim: You have been severed from vast scientific knowledge. Though your species continues to learn, you do so completely unregulated and unsupervised.

Being: Didn't they help with the pyramids?

Prim: Long before your humanity existed, beings from the star system your science deemed "Alpha Draconis" or "Thuban" intercepted intelligence about the Anu's plan to experiment with nether creatures. They swiftly inhabited this ecosystem with reptilian offspring. As I said previously, when your species was conceived you were connected entirely to nature. You spoke with your minds and were able to communicate with subspecies.

Being: So we were telepathic and talked to animals. Ok, then. As crazy as it sounds I have no reason to doubt you. I mean, I've never even seen or heard anything like this. But anyway, please go on.

Prim: You have heard of this. You were pure creatures, but you were corrupted. The awaiting offspring mimicked and infiltrated your species as gods and wizards. They gave you verbal speech and changed your genetic code by turning you into a working class hominoid. This also introduced malfunctions in biological programming. The mental and physical disorders that plague your species were a result of this impure tampering. The Great Pyramids were created as an engine to let the reptilian species use this Rock Tundra for power and energy. Years after the pyramids were constructed, man continued to fight with other men they could not understand, and the Alpha Draconians still have power to this day.

Being: So that's what you meant by post corruption I assume?

Prim: Precisely.

The being sinks into himself and begins to think of the many possibilities had things gone differently. They could have been pure people, but now he has realized how insignificant he is on his own planet, let alone the universe.

Being: Will it ever change?

Prim: There are many possibilities for a paradigm shift.

Being: A shift I surely won't be around for.

Prim: There is a low probability that you will.

Being: That could be a good thing or bad thing I suppose. God help us all.

Prim: Your overlord no longer supervises this basin.

The being looks up in horror.
