Dark came slowly, Anna layed propped against as a tree as she waited for night, praying they wouldn't find her, praying she would make it home to see Harry and Remus one last time. The only family she had left.
She must have drifted off at some point, or passed out from the pain shooting through her side where the effects of a slicing hex were starting to catch up with her
Groaning as she came back into consciousness she looked around, seeing nothing but pitch black as her eyes adjusted to the dark. Slowly she began to see the lights of the town ahead, remembering her plan to find out where exactly she was and how to get home.
Anna had always been gifted at magic, mastering wandless magic before school had ended. Yet she was in no condition to apparate now, she needed food and clean water, something to help her stitch up the wound in her side. Her other injuries would have to wait until she was safe.
As Anna made her way toward the outskirts of the town she saw life and happiness for the first time in 15 years, and, for once, actually allowed herself to have hope.

1977
Anna was drunk, after the whole Sirius revelation she'd ran straight to her dorm room, gathered Marlene and Alice, and insisted on a girls night out. After hours of preparation and distractions the girls had headed out, Anna sneaking into her brothers dorm, stealing the marauders map.
That was how they'd ended up in Hogsmead, 5 hours ago. It was nearing one in the morning when Anna had jumped on the bar of the Hogshead, bottle of whisky in hand.
Aberforth looked on at her with dismay, if a tiny bit of fondness. With a flick of her hand the music had been raised as the bar cheered, watching the carefree girl dance around the bar.
That was until the door opened and Sirius and Remus walked in. The two had been sneaking into Honeydukes for some supplies when they'd heard the cheers and music. Never one to turn away from a party Sirius had jogged off, ignoring Remus' calls that it was late and they could be caught, not having the map as lookout. Neither had expected to see Anna Potter dancing on the bar, laughing happily as she attempted to coax Marlene into joining her, the girl just laughing in response, happy to see her friend happy.
Alice spotted them first as she smiled kindly, walking over to the gawking boys. "You know this is partly your fault right Black?" she stated, not unkindly.
Sirius stuttered as Alice laughed at him
"You're so blind! You spend all your time teasing James about Lily when you do the exact same thing with her. Everyone can see it"
Sirius frowned "Evidently not everyone" he grunted gesturing towards the girl on the bar who had stolen his heart.
Marlene joined them then, "Well maybe you could try asking her Black instead of being a dick all the time" she laughed, the alcohol having effected her almost as much as it had effected Anna as she stumbled where she stood, Remus catching her before she had the chance to fall.
Sirius turned to Remus at this, looking for some kind of support only to receive a shrug in response, knowing everything that had been said was entirely true.
muttering under his breath "If James kills me it will be entirely your fault" Sirius stalked off towards the girl who frowned as he stole the bottle out her hand, taking a swig, before pulling her into a deep kiss.
Anna froze at first, before slowly melting into the kiss.
Meanwhile, Marlene, Remus and Alice all gawked at the scene in front of them.
"I never thought he'd actually do anything about it" Marlene giggled gleefully before jumping up and down in pure excitement.
