MY NOONA

Chapter 10

Lisa laid down on her bed as she tried to reminisce what happened awhile ago.

*flashback*

"What is this? Mon Bon Ramen Store?" Lisa asked as she scanned the gift certificate.

"That's the award I received back then when I was the winner of Aera University Photography exhibit."

"Ahh... Now I remember, but.. Are you really using this for me? I mean, this is your award, you should only use this with a person so special for you... Like your family, or IU, if ever you'd start dating her."

"But you're special to me Lisa." Jungkook suddenly stopped in his tracks and looked at Lisa with his most serious expression.

*end of flashback*

She tried to shake off her thoughts about that, but she couldn't.

She rolled back and forth in the bed as she can't seem able to sleep.

*2nd flashback*

But.. Noona.. Do you think I could be your type?" Jungkook asked which made Lisa get shocked.

"K-Kookie yah.. What are you even saying?" Lisa stuttered

*end of 2nd flashback*

She smacked her head as she tried to forget those scenes she had with Jungkook.

But unfortunately it kept flashing back on her.

Aigoo.. What is this? What am I even thinking. He likes IU okay?... But, why isn't he even courting her yet? And When will our deal finally come to an end?....She thought.

The next morning....

(Aera Relay Race)

Jungkook looked at his watch, they were in the library with his BTS squad.

"Guys.. I think I need to go, I still need a game to attend to." Jungkook said as he stood up.

"Ooh..is it because your Lisa noona is there?" Jimin smiled

"Wow.. You're such a supportive dongsaeng." Yoon Gi added.

"Yeah, we heard she was attending, tell her good luck for us okay?" Nam Joon said

"Alright Hyungs.. Goodbye" Jungkook then excitedly went out of the library.

Nam Joon and the rest of the BTS squad chuckled to themselves.

"I guess he really loves his noona." Nam Joon muttered.

Flashforward >>>

Many people started cheering on the bleachers

Whistles and sounds of pompoms could be heard everywhere.

Jungkook had also arrived and sat on the bleachers holding a bouquet of flowers, he then looked for Lisa, and when he saw her he instantly grinned.

"WOOH!! GO LISA NOONA!!" Lisa heard Jungkook cheering from the crowd then she grinned at him.

There are different colors for each runners:

Pink- Rosé
Purple- Jisoo
Black-Jennie
Yellow- Lisa

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Aera University Relay Race competition. The winner of this competition will receive a trip to Hollywood with his or her friends... So shall we start now?"

Lisa, Rosé, Jisoo, and Jennie went to the starting point of the relay race track.

"Let's bring it on bitches." Jennie smirked

"Oh well yeah!" Rosé cheerfully said

"Chicken! Let's go!" Jisoo said cutely.

"I'm ready." Lisa muttered with her most serious face ever.

She then looked at Jungkook from the crowd,and he made a 'Hwaiting' sign.

Lisa smiled.

*WHISTLE!!*

The four girls started running.

The four of them were synchronized until one of the contestants, Jisoo fell on the ground,

Now only Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé remained on the track.

But then...Jennie and Rosé were now ahead of Lisa.

She started to lose hope and stopped in the middle of the race track in surrender.

"LISA! Where's your fighting spirit?!! Apply what I've taught you!!" Lisa heard Jungkook from the crowd.

This is it, I have to do this for Jungkook... This needs to work, all his efforts, it needs to be paid off...Lisa thought.

She then breathed deeply and clenched her fists.

Rosé and Jennie were now halfway the finish line.

Lisa's thoughts were now focused on the competition, she didn't mind the people around her.

She then started running.

And running.. And running... Until she was already ahead of Jennie.

Now, Rosé and her were now 1 meter away from the finishing line..

But Lisa, gathered her fighting spirit and...

She had...

Crossed the finished line first.

The people started cheering for her.

"WOOOH!!! LISA!!! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!!" Jungkook cheered loudly.

Lisa was then carried by some of her classmates

"You did great." Momo said

"Thanks guys." Lisa said.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we already have a winner, please claim your reward here onstage.. And so, the fastest legs in Aera University..is.. LALISA MANOBAN!!"The host exclaimed

People applauded and Lisa smiled to recieve a medal and the ticket to Hollywood.

"Kanssamnida everyone. Without all your cheering and support and I could not have won this competition, I also thank Mr. Yang our adviser. And last but the least, I thank my dongsaeng.. Jungkook, for training me." Lisa smiled at Jungkook from the crowd.

Jungkook then smiled back at her.
