"Well technically the next stop is New York but—"

"Taiya shush, i'm trying to make this sound cool, okay" she replied rolling her eyes.

"Hey!! New York is cool!" I exclaimed hitting her arm.

"Oh, whatever, come on, let's just get on this plane already."

The second I sat on that chair, I collapsed into a deep sleep. I woke up a few hours later, and the sun was completely gone, and most of the plane around me was sound asleep, including Elena.

I gently sat up carefully not waking up anyone around me, and pulled my phone out of my pocket.

2.08am.
Sweet, only a few more hours to go.

I refreshed myself in the bathroom and was returning back to my seat, as the fight hostess offered to get me something from the food trolley.

"I'll just take a blueberry muffin, thankyou."

"Was that one warmed up today, miss?" She whispered quietly, jotting down something on her notepad.

"Yes please."

She turned on her heal, making her way to the nose of the plane, before returning a few minutes later, with a nicely warmed up blueberry muffin.

- - -

As the pilots voice echoed through the plane, my eyes fluttered open revealing the hot, morning, sun shining through the window ahead of me.

Elena was still asleep next to me, so I gently shook her and woke her up, informing her that we were landing soon.

"Wow what time is it, it's so early!" she stuttered, keeping her eyes tightly shut.

"Nearly 7." I replied, checking my phone screen.

"And we still have the connecting flight to LA" she groaned. "I just want to be in my comfy bed already."

Elena finally opened her eyes, leaning across me to open the blind.

I will never get over the look of New York City. It was breathtaking. The same rush of excitement and nervousness came over me like the last time I was here. Only that time, I came to meet someone.

Someone I once missed.
Someone I once loved.

"Do you want anything from Starbucks? I'm going to go grab a coffee, i need some energy." I stood up from the seat, pulling my wallet out of my bag.

"Yeah, I'll just have a tall hot chocolate, thankyou Tay." Elena replied, handing me a $5 note.

"El, we're in America, I don't think a $5 note is going to work here." I laugh, as I pull out my American Credit Card.

"Oh yeahhh, I forgot about that." She bursts out laughing, and hands me her card also, before I make my way to the Starbucks counter.

I'm walking through the airport as I hear familiar names, and feel the buzz of excitement that I know all too well. I look around not able to see where exactly the crowd is heading, before the voices become louder and the terminal doors open up, revealing the 5 talented boys that I haven't seen since the last time I was here, in this airport, in New York, and in his arms.

Without them seeing, I ducked my head and continued my way to Starbucks, passing through the crowd of fangirls that were screaming their names. The feeling was unlike last time. My heart raced when I saw his face, but I'm sure the emotion in my face was showing the deeper feeling that was rubbing through me. It was hard to stop myself from breaking down in a puddle of tears, but even harder for me to run up into his arms. I felt regret, and I wasn't sure why... it's not like I did anything... right?

"May I please have a tall hot chocolate, and a grande mocha, both on full cream milk, thank you." The girl nodded and pressed some buttons on the screen before reaching for my card, and swiping it through the register. A squeal of excitement was heard not too far away, and the girl's eyes adverted directly to the scene.

"Oh my gosh, its them! Its them!" She squealed, suddenly forgetting all about my coffee order. I turned around in the direction she was pointing and saw the boys heading towards the queue I was in.

"Why aren't you reacting? Do you even know who-" She stopped midsentence as she double looked at the boys and back at me.

"Wait, are you- is your name-"

"Taiya?" I questioned, knowing exactly what her thought process was right now. "Yes, it's me."

"Are you here with the boys? Oh my! A reunion I love it!" She squealed in delight, once again.

"Oh well, let me go and make sure your coffee is made to perfection!"

The girl quickly ran to the barista who was about the same age as us both, and whispered something in her ear. Her eyes lit up as she looked in my direction, as she poured out the coffee she was making and started again.

Why are they treating me different, I'm still just a normal Aussie girl who happened to meet an American guy?

I walked over to the pick-up area, keeping my face hidden as I didn't want a big fuss, and I especially didn't want the boys to see me. There were multiple customers before me who were waiting for their coffee's as I was ordering, so by the time the man ahead of me had his name called out, the boys had arrived up at the counter, however the boys were still unaware of my presence. I really am surprised though, you'd think they would have seen me if they were paying attention to every single Starbucks worker that kept on paying me attention, and apologising for the "delay on your coffee" because they "wanted to make it perfect".

How do they boys live with this??? One Starbucks order and I'm already over all the attention I am getting.

I roll my eyes to myself, as I look back at the barista that was making her 6th attempt of my coffee. I knew it was mine, so I was adamant of being ready and getting my drink before, she had time to call my name out. But of course, when you want something to go to plan, it never does.

I stepped forward ready to receive my drink as her voice echoed around me, calling out my name for practically the whole airport to hear.

"Tall hot chocolate and a grande mocha, for Taiya!!"

My face turned bright red, and as I snatched up the two drinks, and turned on my heel to head back to Elena. My eyes searched frantically through the crowd to find my way out, and that's when I saw his ocean blue eyes take a double look at me, and his mouth dropped. We stayed like that for a second, only a few metres away, but two worlds apart.

I quickly turned away hurrying through the crowd and away from the awkward moment that had just occurred. I have no idea how long I was standing there, but I just knew I had to get out.

I frantically found my way back to Elena.

"We have to go, like now, please." I whispered desperately to Elena, handing her the hot chocolate and gathering up my carry-on luggage.

"Why? What's wrong? What happened?" Elena questioned, standing up from her chair as she collected her luggage, without much hesitation.

"The boys are here."
