3 months after graduation.

We had been around Australia and I still felt like I was trapped. I wasn’t sure why… But June, Jess and I had camped out in all types of places and weather. We were heading home.

“Ok guys. What if we took it further? “June said.

“What do you mean?” Jess asked

“Remember 3 months ago when we were walking to school on graduation day and Leigh you wanted to go to Ireland right?” She asked

“Yeah…I still do” I replied “I love Ireland” I muttered to myself. “I don’t know why though. I just have a feeli-“I got cut off.

“Yeah whatever and you Jess you want to go to what did you call it?”

“The city of love” Jess said back

“Yeah Paris”

“Yeah, and I wanted to go to England.”

“So you say we should travel.” I asked

“Yeah but not the whole entire world just the places that stand out.”

“That sounds amazing.” Jess said

“I know. I’m amazing” June said

“Aleigha…what do you say?” Jess said.

“Alfie?” I said in a baby way

“Umm…I don’t know if cars can ride on planes.” June said.

“I’M NOT GOING THEN.” I shouted. *maybe Alfie is the reason I feel like I’m still not…free. I love my car and I can’t just leave him. But we are always coming back…right?* I was thinking to myself. I knew that they knew I was thinking and then didn’t interrupt me.

“Umm…I think I can do it. I’ll go.” I said

“I’m pretty sure that if we ever do like live in another country that you can get your car shipped to you.” Jess said. Jess always knew what to say to make me feel better. June on the other hand.

“YEAH… where the ship could sink and then Alfie will drown.” June said. I

“DON’T LISTEN TO HER ALFIE. COVER YOU ENGINE.” I shout. I pulled over and turned around to face June If I ever hear you say that again or worse… June Maple Telles god help me…I will kill you.” Her eyes were open so wide I could see my own reflection I by god… I looked good. I then turned and faced Jess and she couldn’t help but let out a roar of laughter… followed by June and then finally me.

“Hahah I’m not joking.” I then said while looking for cars then continued driving.
