Prologue: The Essential Verse

Essence also known as Spirit, Core, Heart... that which gives meaning to life. It is not the soul which is necessary for life. Even when a mortal has that SOUL inside, without essence... the mortal becomes an empty shell existing for nothing. Our father, Lord Xpir, created us pure and perfect. He doesn't want us to soil our bodies and so he never gave us body parts for procreation. He never even gave us genders, but we know who among us are males and females... not by choice, but by physical attributes that define which is which. He also forbid us to have relationships with our fellow Essential Beings. Yes, we are called Essential Beings. Each of us embody one single essence... positive essences like Compassion, negative essences like Murder, and neutral essences like Happiness. As for me, I, Gazbleir Celxion, dark master, am the Essential Being of Courage.

Essential Beings like us live forever, we have a core inside of us that fuels our immortality. We also grew old to a certain point called the age of perpetuity which is twenty-five years old. We might embody those powerful essences within our cores, but we are never those essences. I might be Courage, but I am not courageous all of the time. We were also gifted with unique abilities as essential beings with my ability being the odd ball called Heirloom. Aside from that, we actually live in peace and unity with the lesser ones that Lord Xpir also made to support us and called them Essence Beings. The Essence Beings are those under us. For me, they can't be called lesser gods for Lord Xpir gave them something that they did not wish to have, mortality. Every century, they succumb to old age. However, the thing that Lord Xpir gave them that we would've wished to have is the capability to have relationships, families, and children of their own. Even so, we work together to deliver the essences to the mortals of the Verse. During those work times, we often accompany our fellow essence beings with us. Those dedicated to deliver the essence of courage work under me. I always treated them as equals. They might be different in terms of physical features and colors, but I see them as families of my own. Fun fact, the colors of essential beings range from the palest purple flesh to the lightest mortal skin to the darkest of brown mortal skin color. Essential beings have it different with their color ranging from the lightest of greens to the darkest of blues.

I've had my share of births and deaths of my followers throughout the span of eternity. I've also experienced a lot of positive and negative events like contests, performances, brutal accidents, murders, and wars. Most of the essential beings became sick of experiencing and reliving those traumatic memories that they decided to ask Lord Xpir to device a way for them to reset themselves, both memories and personalities but the experiences would have to remain. Some of us, like me, hated the idea of having to wipe out all memories and personalities, but Lord Xpir loved his perfect creation so much that he created the Rebirth System, the mistake that broke us apart. I've had my share of issues that I brought up also during the time that they were bringing this up. That time, I was in love with another essential being. She, Dizane Lamx, the ice queen, was the essential being of Fear, quite the opposite of my essence. Along with others, I fought for the right to have the relationship ban lifted. He did lift the ban but in doing so, he never saw us the same again. To his eyes, we were still perfect but no longer are we pure.

When the Rebirth System came about, those who wanted a soft reset of their lives had their taste of becoming young again. For mortals and essence beings, it would take nine months to give birth. Lord Xpir, being the Supreme Being that he was, made it a century. The system turns the essential beings into newborns in the body of three-year olds. They look like toddlers going to preschool age but technically they are newborns. With such innocent minds, what could go wrong? The answer is everything... The followers of the essential beings who underwent the system took the liberty in taking care of the children... some of them to care of them in the worst ways I could ever imagine. A group of essence beings who secretly wanted to overthrow us, cooked up their vilest and most cruel plans ever... corrupting the essential children. As a result, it sparked an internal warfare against essential beings. The leader of the side of the corruption was the essential being of Trauma, Azalan Ixiden. Falling into their trap, Lord Xpir also suffered greatly in the war as he was put to traumatizing events caused by the leader herself.
