Chapter 19: Conflicting Feelings

In her room, she uh (words cannot express what she is going on through with a revelation like that) lies down on her bed. She grabs her pillow and covers her face with it, not to the point of suffocation though, but to the point where if the pillow had ribs, it could've been mushed. She never answers the alerts from her phone and she closed her thoughts so that even Xpir could not disturb her. Her face is flushed starting from the nose to the cheeks and a bit below the forehead. She's mad I guess, but kind of happy I guess, although she shows signs of irritability I guess. She covers her face with the pillow as she yells through it. She has already moved on with the person he used to like... or probably love, but now this person is in love with her. Her confession about her past feelings from him should've ended just like that, but never in her life that she would expect a confession of love after she said she already moved on. In the very least, she was feeling bad to leave him alone just outside the apartment building. Actually, when she heard the lines... "I will make you fall for me all over again," she rushed inside the building without ever telling him that they had actually arrived at her place. Now, she is wondering whatever happened to him when she did that.

"Should I message him?" she asks to herself, "I want to but I can't or maybe I won't, but what should I choose!"

*KNOCKS ON HER WALL*

"HEY KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN, I'M REVIEWING HERE!"

"I'm sorry!"

"YOU SHOULD BE!"

Embarrassed by her actions, she picks up her phone and makes up her mind. But then, "What are these messages?"

*KNOCKS ON HER DOOR*

"Kronos, are you there? It's me Xarulu (Friendship), you were not answering your phone so I came here."

*DOOR FROM THE NEIGHBOR ROOM SLAMS OPEN*

"CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I AM REVIEWING HERE?!"

"Pervert!" Krozel hears Xarulu punch the neighbor in the face, "You should wear something decent!"

Krozel warily checks outside to see what the commotion was about, "Oh my, Charla what have you done?"

"This guy is a pervert, wearing nothing but underpants and yells at me like that!"

"All right, calm down," Krozel takes her stuff and locks her door, "let's get out of here..."

"I can't believe how epic of a fail that was!" Xarulu laughs at her while they made their way back to Essential Core, "I wonder how you'll react when you see him again! Your face is still flushed, all worked up I guess?"

"I'm more or less getting mixed feelings," Krozel covers her face. "I can't go there with my face like this!"

"Come on," Xarulu pats her in the back, "When you were caring for me when I was young, you kept a straight face when talking to him!"

"There is a big difference between the words NOW and BEFORE, thank you very much," Krozel ties a handkerchief around her face. "Plus, this is nothing like the way it was before!"

"Seriously, you don't have feelings for him anymore?"

"I told you, I just got over him," Krozel puts on her hood. "I'm having tremors all over and I can't seem to stop it from shaking!"

"Well, that's your problem," Xarulu smirks. "You'll be seeing your suitor, your crush, and your new and complex suitor. I wonder how these things would turn out~"
