Chapter 2

Kensi´s POV

Satisfied I wouldn´t have to eat at home alone by myself I agreed for dinner with Deeks. Plus I was looking forward to spend some alone-time with him. Despite he is my partner and therefore there was no way to develop romantic feelings for him, I still have to think about the way he kissed me before he was captured and tortured by Siderov every time I caught sight of his beautiful blue eyes. I haven’t figured out yet what he had been thinking. Was he serious about that kiss or did he tease me? He never mentioned the kiss again what makes me thinking he just wanted me to shut up… But the one and only time he spoke about the torture, he told me that I had been his place to go to for standing the pain. If it hadn´t been my partner who said this, especially Deeks, I would have considered it as a way to tell me that he loved me… But since it had been my partner (and Deeks) it probably meant that he was thinking of me because he trusted me with his life and that I would be able to find him and rescue him. The hope that he wouldn´t die in there. ‘Kensi, of course he just meant it this way. Don´t give it too much thoughts. He´s your partner and best friend!' I told myself. But I couldn't help it. I'm still trying to figure out what it meant to him. Why does it have to be this complicated? It would be a lot easier if he just had said 'You're going on my nerves. By the way, Michelle is leaving, so you better get your ass on your bike and leave me alone.' or if he ment something else... NO, KENSI! Stop thinking about it, he's your PARTNER! Don't be stupid and give him reasons to believe you've got a crush on him... Either he wouldn't take it seriously and make fun in front of the whole agency about it. Or he would feel sorry for you because he would have never given it at least a damn thought...

On our way to the car (it had been Deeks turn to carpool) he playfully hit my shoulder with his. Still can't help it but having the impression he's acting even more weird as usually. Could be my nerves as well...

Sorry for the very long wait and this very short chapter but I wrote it a few month ago and I didn't find a real connection to it. It was supposed to be longer but I hope you enjoy it anyways. Show me some love and let me know what you think about it...
