Royal flames (Shouto Todoroki X Reader)

Chapter 3: Leave me alone (Edited: 07/08/18)

~[name]'s P.O.V~

After hearing the sentence I already knew that it was Shouto. "Come in." I said. "Hey... [last name]... I'm really sorry if I snapped and I'm sorry if I'm just apologising now." he said. "Apology denied." I said sounding heartless, "Why should I accept an apology from someone who has wronged me?" I said with anger present in my voice. When I turned around everything was black and white, I saw Sho-Todoroki looking concerned for me because my eyes weren't their usual colours. "Why are your eyes grey and foggy?" he asked with a hint of worry in his voice."That's what happens when she's either Annoyed, Mad, or Remembering her dark past." a man said. Todoroki and I looked by the door to see who it was, it was Endeavor of all people. "How do you know that? Wait, you did research on the girls you thought would be a possible match for Prince Todoroki, am I not right?" I asked. "Still as smart as ever Lady [last name]. Since when did you call my son by his last name?" he asked. "Ever since I regained my walls." I said. "Walls?" Shouto asked, "Yes, Walls. Walls I built to see who can break it down. You broke it down, but after you showed me you don't remember, it was rebuilt." I said glaring at him, "If you'll excuse me I have to train my Quirks." I said before heading to the training grounds.

~Shouto's P.O.V~

I watched as my soulmate walked away from me and my father. "What did you do Shouto?" father asked me. "Nothing, but why did you hurt mom years ago? Do you expect me to force [first name] to marry me like what you did to mother?" I said. "How do you remember that?" he asked sounding shocked. "A fire was lit up inside of me." he said. I went to the library's balcony to feel the breeze, suddenly it grew too strong and I noticed that the balcony was overlooking the training grounds. I was watching [first name] training her hell-flame, I could feel her sadness from where I was standing, she froze the entire training ground by accident and I knew I couldn't do that or at least not that fast. She quickly knelt down and used her flames to melt the ice causing it to create a thick layer of steam, I was waiting for it to clear out until I noticed a sudden heat behind me and I turned around to see [first name] with wings made of fire and air. She set her feet down and her Quirks disappeared, "Stalking me? That's a dirty move even for you Todoroki." she said. "Why did you stop calling me by my given name?" I asked her. She stopped walking and turned around to face me, "It's pointless calling someone by their given name which is way harder than memorising family names, especially since you're royal too." she said before walking away. I felt a sudden stab at her words.

~[name]'s P.O.V~

I felt a tug on may heart knowing that I hurt him with my words and attitude, but can you blame me? I've been through a lot that my heart just can't handle it anymore, the only thing it can handle is beating. I was walking around to look for the other library, as I was getting closer I saw a glimpse of the ocean, my heart raced and I flew towards it using my Crystal-Air. Once my toes felt the sand I felt happy and relieved, I'm sure Todoroki felt that too. I went ahead and changed out of my fancy gown and wore a simple 2 piece, once my body was submerged in water the legs that's always hidden underneath the gown turned into a scaly tail, this is one of the setbacks of my Quirk; Deep blue. I saw Endeavor walking towards the ocean and I suddenly crystallised the air to keep me in an invisible barrier. "Lady [first name]. My son apologises for what he has done, so please let us go back to the manor before someone sees you." he said. "Why should I care that someone will see me?" I asked harshly. "You're still engaged to my son and you're still the heir to the [last name] family. There will be a lot of threats out there." he explained. "Fine." I said. Once I made it on shore my tail disappeared and I got my legs back. While I was changing........ "You haven't connected with my son, am I right?" he asked. "How do you know?" I asked. "Once you've connected you could see your partners hearts too, it has a blue aura around it if they felt sad, it has a yellow aura around if they are happy, it has a green aura around it when they feel disgusted, and much much more." he explained. "So you're ordering me to kiss him?" I said. "Indeed, you're a fast learner I'm still in awe every time you impress me with your smartness." he praised me. "Fine." I agreed. After changing I went to the dry shore and summoned my Quirk wings, once I made it to the library balcony I walked to my room, and in front of it was Todoroki. "[first name]......." he said. Once he stood up I was planning on kissing him already but then....... "I'm sorry if I hurt you." he said which threw me off. "Brother's not gonna let anyone hurt you, alright?" A familiar voice said in my head.

~Shouto's P.O.V~

I was in shock when I saw [first name] crying, honestly I was bewildered by her beauty under the moonlight rays. She ran to me and I caught her in my arms, I was going to talk to her but a pair of warm lips stopped mine from letting out any words. [first name] is kissing me?! I thought in my head, then "Leave me alone." She said with a sad tone and not meeting my eyes.
