Royal flames (Shouto Todoroki X Reader)

Chapter 4: Memories (Edited: 07/08/18)

~Shouto's P.O.V~

As I heard those 3 words my heart shattered but something was different. I looked down at her and I could see her heart surrounded by a blue and yellow aura, but then the yellow slowly faded. "Now I can see how you feel." she told me. "Was that the only reason you kissed me?" I asked. "Maybe, Maybe not. Who knows?" she told me. I watched as she entered her room but then my body moved on it's own and I realised that I grabbed her sleeve "What do you----" she was cut off when I kissed her, as I opened my eyes I saw her shocked expression which I found priceless. I pushed her further in until she was up against the wall, in the corner of my eye I saw father passing by and had probably seen us. I saw [first name]'s eyes drift down to my chest meaning she was looking at my heart.

~[name]'s P.O.V~

I looked at his heart and noticing how his heart was surrounded by a red aura; lust. I was just surprised to see that even Sh-Todoroki had major lust in his heart and more importantly he started it. My eyes drifted back to his and he was staring, "Why did you do this to me, [first name]?" Todoroki asked. "Do what?" I asked. "You just had to push my buttons." he said. "Who knows?" I said before pushing him away, he was too strong...........................and masculine. "[first name]! Run away now!" A familiar voice said in my head, before I knew it I was on the ground kneeling down and crying. My hell-flame surrounded me, Todoroki got the message meaning 'stay away'. He left and I plopped down my bed, I looked at my hands knowing that I've done so much wrong things with them, I've pushed people away, I've destroyed things, and I've................ Killed.

Weeks has passed since I made any sort of contact with him, everyday I walk outside my room I hear murmurs and sad comments like "It's hard to see two soulmates like this." or "I wonder what happened to them." they keep saying. It's my day off from training again today and I went to the garden, there was a beautiful fountain at the centre and on the bench sat Todoroki. "What happened in your past?" I asked. "Do we have any sort of relation to tell each other about such things?" he said. "I guess not, anyways sorry for disturbing." I said and I followed it with a curtsey. I walked around to find the best flowers and I saw a bush with red and white roses, It made me feel at home and so my Crystal-air started blowing off a tune my brother made for me and so I followed it with his lyrics "Blue birds sang in the sky, while they flew so high. The animals sleeping while the sun was setting with the moon shining bright. The owls 'hooed' in the night with the stars in their sight. Oh darling can't you see? I noticed how Shouto was watching me from a from afar and his heart was emitting a yellow aura meaning he was happy. I kept humming in the garden of red and white roses until............ Todoroki held out his hand and said "May I have this dance, lady [first name]?" I smiled because he called me by my first name again, I gladly took his hand and my Crystal-air created a platform underneath us making us look like we were dancing in mid air, and my fire played the 'waltz'. We were dancing smoothly and as expected Todo-Shouto is a great dancer. "Hey........" I said. "Yeah?" He said while we were still dancing, "You don't mind if I call you 'Shouto' right?" I asked shyly.

~Shouto's P.O.V~

After hearing those words my heart melted. "Of course! You don't mind if I call you [first name]?" I asked. "S-sure" she stuttered which I found adorable. We were still dancing until her 3 other Quirks helped, her Fire added a warm light around us, her Air created people made from wind, her Ice gave us a thin layer of ice so we could step on it, her Water was underneath the thin layer of ice making it look like we were dancing on water, and her Land created statues around us and made flowers bloom everywhere. I saw 4 water circles surround us and I saw water arise from it forming a floating fountain. "It's beautiful, [first name]." I praised her. "T-thank You."she said. We were dancing on her creations and the way it looked like we were dancing with other people made it better and one of them sang so all the "participants" could dance. We saw my father watch us and we didn't care and kept dancing. "Hey, [first name]?" I called out to her. "Yes?" she said. I knelt down and pulled out a ring "Will you marry me?" I asked her. "We are already engaged but it's better if I hear YOUR yes not your parents'" I said. "Yes!" she answered me with tears down her face. I put on her ring and I hugged her tightly, once we separated she took me by surprise and kissed me. "Since you already asked me, and I am now your fiancé. I guess it's time let you in." she said. "Let me in?" he asked. She held out her hands and put it on the sides of my head, I saw everything, I saw how she suffered for 20 years, and I saw how she lost her brother. I was out of her memories and once I could move I hugged her. "I'm sorry." I apologised. "You don't have to tell me yours, I already know." she said. "How?" I asked. "We're soulmates aren't we? The first time I saw you laughing, your memories came to me."
