Shubman's POV-
"Shubman! Give that to me." Adithi shouted.
"Take it." I said, putting my hand forward.
She tried reaching for it, but failed as I had drawn my hand back. She stomped her feet like a five year old kid.
"Dekho na dadi! Ye mere papers nahi de raha." She complained to Nirmala dadi.
"Dadi hamesha inn papers mein lagi rehti hai. Hum aaj subeh cafè gaye the aur udhar bhi ye papers leke aayi thi." I told dadi.
"Arre! It's important!" Adithi glared at me.
"Acha?" I raised an eye brow.
"Ji haan." She said, with an attitude.
She tried getting the papers again, but tripped on her shoe lace and was about to fall face flat on the floor, but I held her by her waist.
I pulled her back. I didn't even notice how close we were standing until Adithi looked down.
We were just inches apart. She stepped away with a soft blush on her face.
Her blush blew away when her papers flew away.
She glared at me before picking them up.
I was leaving to Punjab tomorrow. Today was my last day here in Bangalore and so, we decided to spend the entire day together.
We spent a little more time in the oldage house before saying bye to everyone, and heading back to Adithi's apartment.
"So, what are these papers?" I asked her, as we sat in the car.
"These are my designs." She told me.
"For what?"
"Internship."
"Internship?" I asked; confused.
"Yeah! I'm applying for an internship under Manish Malhotra." She said.
"That's great!."
"I know right! I really hope I get it." She said, looking hopeful.
"You will. Don't worry." I said and kept my hand over hers.
She smiled at me and looked ahead. In the past week, I've come to realise that what I felt for Adithi wasn't just an attraction. Neither was it a crush.
I actually like her.
Her.
Her voice.
Her laugh.
Her blush.
Her presence.
Her affection.
Her.
I didn't want to leave tomorrow but again, I also didn't have any reason to stay back.
We reached her apartment and crashed on the couch.
"I'll order pizza?" She asked and I nodded my head to that.
She picked the landline and called Dominos, ordering two margarita pizzas.
"I got to stay fit." I stated, after she hung up.
"Okay?" She gave me a confused look.
"With you feeding me margarita pizzas, that's not going to happen." I told her to which she laughed.
"It's fine. It's not like you got to impress anyone, little boy." She said.

We were currently watching 'One Tree Hill', sprawled on the couch while eating our pizzas.
"Shub?" She called me out to which I hummed.
"Do you really have to go tomorrow?" She asked me.
"Matlab?"
"Matlab yeh, ki tera jaana zaruri hai kal?" She translated.
"Oh my god, Adithi. Do you really think I don't know english?" I gave her a poker face.
She chuckled and asked, "Why don't you stay back?"
"Give me a reason." I smirked.
"Me!" She smirked and pointed to herself.
"There's no better reason than me." She laughed.
I laughed, thinking, how true it was.
"Come on, Shub. You literally have nothing to do in Punjab. Stay for a couple of weeks more." She said.
I was about to say something but she spoke again.
"You know what? Do one thing! Stay here with me! I, anyway, have no one here. You can do whatever you want. I'll have 5 hours of college in the morning and then, I'm free. I can show you Bangalore too. Please!" Adithi pleaded.
"Stay here with you?" I smirked.
"Yeah! Why not?"
"You really want me to stay with you in the same house and do whatever I want?" I asked again, with a bigger smirk.
She was about to say something, but then realisation dawned upon her.
"Ew. Dirty boy. I didn't mean that." She said, while kicking my leg. I laughed at her reaction.
"So, you'll stay?" She asked.
"Pweeeeese. Pweety pweese." She gave me the puppy eyes which CANNOT BE DECLINED.
"Okay, I will." I agreed.
"Yayyy!" She screamed and jumped on to hug me.
"I'm so happy!" She said while pulling away.
"We can go for ice skating, movies, late night long drives,....." And she went on speaking.
