Abigail

I woke up and got dressed for work knowing I didn't want to go. I just wanted to stay in bed, I was overly tired. Its been one week and I haven't seen or heard from Jake. I stayed up all last night wondering where he could of been. Maybe he just wanted to kiss me and when I challenged him, he left. I've only known him for a month and he has got me feeling this way.

I made my way to work and was greeted by a smiling Carol. I walked over to her and hugged her. I put my stuff down and got to work. The day flew by quickly and soon I was at my house and dancing around in just a t-shirt and underwear. A knock sounded on my door and I opened it and was greeted with Chrissy. I jumped into her arms, I missed her soo much.

"Hey bitch, I missed you." She said and I smiled. We both walked in my house and sat on my couch.

"So how was it?" I asked.

"It was good, really good." She said and even smiled.

"So what have you been up to, Abi?" She asked and I smiled and blushed.

"Oouu, do tell." She wiggled her eyebrows and I laughed. Just as I was about to tell her, Luke came in the door and sat on my couch next to me like he owned the place. I rolled my eyes.

"Continue." He said and I rolled my eyes again.

"So I met this guy, his name is Jake. I've known him for a month and its been exciting. He's really sweet, sexy as fuck and even caring but he has this past and I feel like it's dangerous. He won't even tell me what he does for a living. I guess I can't blame him, I haven't even told him what happened with Ryan and I. He knows that my dad died and I know about his mom as well. I feel like, I don't know maybe he's just a player. Ugh!" I said annoyed and threw my couch pillow across the room.

"He hasn't even called or even texted me in a week." I said and looked at Chrissy and Luke. There mouths were hung open and they were just staring at me. Finally, Chrissy spoke up.

"Awee do you like him? Listen don't put to much thought into it, make him chase you, hell make him run after you. You're a babe and you need to leave how to use it. We all have past, some to painful to talk about, hell if he doesn't want you knowing what he does, maybe he's protecting you." She said and I nodded. I guess he was protecting me but from what?

"I do not like him, I can't, I don't want him to be like Ryan. I can't go through the pain again." I said and immediately regretted it.

"What pain?" Luke asked hesitantly.

"You know, the heartbreak." I said trying to sound convincing.

"No there's more to the story, do tell." Chrissy said, her eyes burning holes into my face.

"I can't, not right now. Please. Uh, Why don't we just go out." I said and they all nodded and I got up and put on a red dress that fell to my ankles and put on black flats and left my house.

We were at the bar 'Singles', it was great so far. I've drank a little bit of vodka, Chrissy and Luke were dancing on the dance floor and I was watching them. I was not drunk, I had to be the designated driver. I decided to get up and join them, I swayed my hips to song that was playing and if I do say so myself, I'm a pretty good dancer. The bartender handed me a drink and I was about to protest but he answered what I was thinking.

"Its from the man over there." He pointed to a man, on the dance floor with, brown eyes and black hair. I smiled and gulped it down.

I felt someone come up behind me and put their hands on my hips and I danced and moved along with them. I was spun around and came face to face with a man. He had a perfect jawline, nice brown eyes, black hair, and even had a nice smile. It was the man who bought me that drink.

"You're beautiful? Do you know that?" He said in what I think is an Italian accent.

"I am? I didn't know." I smiled and he smirked as well.

"Why don't we get out of here?" He said and I nodded. He grabbed my hand and led me out of the building and into a car, same one as Jake, just different color. I got in and he drove, until we reached a hotel and he led me in and up to his room. He shut the door and I pushed against it.

"Wait,I don't even know your name." I said, almost breathless.

"Franco Rossi." He said and I tensed up.

I've heard that name before.

"I..uh, Ive got to go." I said and quickly opened the door and ran out of the hotel, down the street and searched for my phone that was in my purse and I call the first person who I thought off.

After 3rings, he picked up.

"Abigail?" He asked, worriedly.

"Can you come pick me up, please?" I said into the phone, swaying from side to side. I was scared, I don't know what I was thinking.

"Where are you?" He asked, I could here a car starting.

"Uhh," I looked around and I couldn't tell where I was, "I don't know, I feel dizzy. I can't.." I said, then I was on the ground and the phone flew out of my hand and darkness consumed me.
