Prologue (of sorts?):

Lily and James Potter smiled at their young boy, Oliver. He had auburn red hair and hazel brown eyes. His skin was slightly tanned and he had dark freckles scattered across his face and body. There was a V shaped scar on the boys collar bone as well. They thought he was the one whom had survived the killing curse, protecting his twin brother Harry. It was the other way around actually, but they needn't know that. Harry's sad emerald eyes watched his parents interact with his twin brother. His parents hardly ever remembered that Harry existed. The boy ducked his head, black locks falling into the boy's eyes, promptly covering the lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Harry sighed quietly and walked over to the blue slide at the playground. Harry and his twin were now 5 years of age, yet Harry's birthday was never celebrated, only Oliver's. Harry sighed again and climbed up the latter, stealing a glance at his parents and brother. He sat down and slide down, though he did not get up. Nobody went on this slide anyway so why should he move? He then buried his face in his hands and tried hard not to cry. Nobody wanted him, nobody cared.

Suddenly Harry felt someone tap his shoulder, the boy's head snapped up and he stared into silver eyes. "Are you alright" the young boy asked softly. Harry just sighed, "Not really but that doesn't matter. Nobody really cares anyway" Harry said just as softly back. Harry ducked his head avoiding eye contact. "I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy" the boy said, holding his hand out to Harry. Harry looked up in surprise. "You want to be my friend?" Harry asked incredulously. "Why wouldn't I? You seem like you need a friend anyways" Draco answered, giving Harry a bright smile. Harry smiled and took the boy's hand, "I'm Harry, Harry Potter" Draco cocked his head to the side. "I didn't know the Potters had two kids" Draco said curiously. "Nobody ever does" Harry whispered, "I'm Oliver's twin brother but I'm not really wanted so thy try to pretend I don't exist" Harry whispered, lowering his head in shame. Suddenly Harry was engulfed in a tight hug. He was surprised for a moment but quickly hugged Draco back. Draco has bright, platinum blonde hair, fair skin that's almost as pale as Harry's and bright silver grey eyes. Harry slightly played with Draco's hair while they hugged, causing the other boy to giggle. Harry smiled a genuine smile, the first in a while.

"Do you wanna go play?" Draco asked as they pulled apart. Harry nodded vigorously, emerald eyes lighting up. Draco grinned and grabbed Harry's hand, dragging him over to the swing set. "C'mon let's see who can swing the highest!" Draco called over his shoulder. Harry laughed and tried to keep up with the blonde, "Okay!" he responded, running ahead of Draco slightly. Though it wasn't by much since Draco still had a hold of Harry's hand.

The two played for a bit until Draco's father called for Draco. Draco was also told to bring his friend with him. Harry fell silent as they walked side by side, he gripped Draco's hand tightly trying to seek comfort in the blonde. Draco just smile reassuringly and squeezed Harry's hand. Harry smiled nervously back but didn't let go of Draco's hand. Soon they reached Narcissa and Lucius. Narcissa smiled down at the young boy, her two toned hair hanging in front of her slightly as she reached for Draco to pull him in for a quick hug. "Who's your friend Dragon?" she asked and Draco smiled brightly, "This is Harry!" Draco exclaimed tugging Harry's hand so Harry would be pulled next to him. Harry smiled nervously at her and held out his hand, ducking his head slightly. "Hello, Lady Malfoy I presume, I'm Harry. Harry Potter" Harry's bangs fell into his eyes once again, as he looked up at her. "Oh what a little gentleman! Where is your parents Harry" she asked peering at the boy. Harry's cheeks flushed slightly and he answered. "They're over on the bench across the park playing with my twin Oliver" Harry said quietly, looking down at his feet. "Why aren't you with them dear?" Harry's eyes glistened slightly but he swallowed the lump in his throat, masking his feelings. "They don't want me around" he answered in a monotone. "Why do you mean by that?" Lucius asked, finally joining the conversation. "B-Because they don't want me. They try to pretend that I d-don't exist" the boy choked out, and Draco immediately pulled Harry into his arms, hugging him tightly. Harry wiped his tears away but hugged Draco back. "Oh you poor child!" Narcissa cried, taking Harry from Draco and hugging him. Harry stiffened in Narcissa's arms, not used to being hugged by a motherly figure. Draco scowled at his mother and pulled Harry back to him. "Harry's mine! Don't touch him!" Harry sputtered as Draco said that, but didn't object. Narcissa chuckled, and smiled at the two boys.
