One-Shot: 6th year- Moonlight Wanderings

~~~Prologue of sorts~~~

A young boy walked down a winding pathway, made of trampled grass from many others before him. His raven hair glinted in the moonlight, and he stopped by a large, old oak tree. He sat down facing the lake, concealing himself in the shadows. He could hear the quiet lapping of the water, and the faint rustling of the trees as a breeze swept by. Cool night air left goosebumps on his exposed fresh, and he shivered slightly. He looked up sharply as he heard someone coming down the path. He could see the others hair. It looked to be silver in the dim lighting and he had to squint, he couldn't make out whom it was though. As the other got closer, he could see it was a young male about his age.

The young blonde male carefully picked his way towards the lakeside shore, and bent down to pick something up. He watched as the blonde examined the stone before skipping it into the black water. The young blonde male seemed to sigh explosively as though anger was thrumming through him. The young boy finally sat down, and started trickling the sand between his fingers. The raven-haired boy watched the young blonde, whilst fiddling with a couple blades of dead grass. A leaf loosened in the old oak tree and flitted down to the ground. The raven haired teen sighed quietly and his eyes drifted closed. He could feel the weight of the world upon his bruised shoulders. When he opened his eyes again, the blonde haired male was gone, and the sun was just starting to rise. He must have fallen asleep. He sighed, and stood up, rolling his muscles as he stood. He cracked his back before he headed back up the winding path in the direction of the castle, Harry Potter never noticed the mercury silver eyes that watched him as he left.
