A\N : So before we start, I'd just like to remind you that even when I said that this book was already written and published on another account, that does not mean this book would be utterly the same with it. The ideas on that book were... very premature andmightormightnothavebeentooinspiredbyotherdragonriderbooksbecauseit'sauthorwasjust...toomuchofafanbackthensoletsjustleavethatundertherugandnevertouchit. Anyways, I said there would only be slight similarities, namely the character design and some events aaaand some detais. tHaNk yOu fOr rEaDiNg.Also sorry because this chapter is a lot shorter than the last one.

3rd Person
-School of Riders-

A tall, tan skinned man walked around the halls, bearing a smile on his face as he passed by. He marched forward, his warm brown eyes scanning around the area. Students were running around, rushing to their respective classes.

"Goodmorning Headmaster," The students uttered almost in unison as he passed by, still rushing to get to class.

He simply nodded in response to them, keeping his gait stable as he walked up the stairway. He walked calmly towards the room labeled as, 'Headmaster's office'.

He closed the door and sat down on a chair, looking up to a younger woman.

"You're late, sir." She said firmly, adjusting her glasses as she sighed.

"Well, I do love a long walk in the morning." The headmaster smiled.

"What will I ever..." She mumbled before setting down some papers. "Down to business then," She said and looked at the Headmaster grimly.

"So, as you know, Jordan still hasn't returned." She started and the headmaster's smile fainted a bit. "However, even if the leader of the mission did not return, atleast fifteen out of the fifty-five students sent out has returned." She said.

The headmaster looked down and nodded. "I see." He said softly. "Are they all okay?"

"Recovering." She answered. "We've interrogated them regarding with what's happened and..." She paused, handing him some papers.

The headmaster briefly looked at it, deciding to read it later as he brought it down the desk.

"Was Jordan's friend present once agaun in this mission?" The headmaster asked.

"The masked one? Yes," She answered. "He performed with him as usual."

"And yet has he ever shown his face yet?" The headmasted asked.

"Not yet." She answered. "He is more skilled than everyone else, did the mission mostly by himself and only left some minor work for the others. Or atleast that is what I have heard from most of the students."

"Did they ever see if he still exists?" The headmaster asked.

"Unknown. After the sudden ambush, he disappeared with Jordan when they told everyone to run." She answered.

"Nobody saw what happened afterwards?" The headmaster asked.

She nodded in response, confirming what she was asked. "Nobody alive, atleast."

The headmaster shook his head and leaned on the chair. "Well this is going to be a hard nut to crack." He said to himself.

"According from the villagers, there is a sorceress on the cave not so far from here. She's rather famous, and I find ther statementd about her quite familiar." Axel stated, walking back to his scaly friend. "Remember that skilled sorceress we heard of back then in the tavern? Apparently, it's her the villagers spoke of. Suppose we have them to thank for locating the hag. Though it's quite suspicious how she prefers to live in a place that's easily found."
