Your p.o.v

As your very hungry roommate continues to stuff her face, you shout out that you will wait in the car so you can heat it up. As she answers your already out the door not bothering to hear her answer, as you begin to walk outside to the car.

~Flash back~

"Wait hold on, I can reach you just hold on!"

"Don't worry you can't get both of us, get her she has a life to live I'm ok" they say looking at the child barley holding on to the ledge

"I'll just way you down that kid needs a hero they need your help"

"Fine, but I'm no hero and don't even think about moving" you say sternly running to the child barley hearing they're reply.

All that was running through your head was

What have I done
This wasn't supposed to happen
I'm no hero
I'm no good guy
What am I doing

You swiftly grabbed the child pulling them up the pulling them to safety away from the cliff then quickly running back to help your friend.

You run to where they were seeing nothing. None. Just a leaf breeze past. No.

~End of flash back~

You noticed you had already been in the car, you had tried so hard to forget about that memory one of the many reasons you refuse to work with others mostly why you try not work so much. Not saying you don't, but saying you try stay away from human contact in fear of hurting them.

BANG

"Ah what the fuck?"

-"language"

"Oh hush you heard nothing" you say sarcasticly

-"hahah oh sure ok well you ready?"

"Yup, the rest are gonna be there or do we have to pick people up?"

-"they should be there"
