SAVE ME

Jimin pov

I keep running and running, all I see is darkness not even my body can be seen, I can't hear a thing not even my own breathing, all I do is running nonstop in this loop of darkness.

I don't understand why I'm running and from what, where am I and where I'm going, these questions keeps spinning in my head, I tried to scream but no sound came out, I feel my head is like being split into two, what keep me sane is I still have sense of touch, I can fell I'm barefooted, I can feel the uneven ground that slit the skin of my feet the pain of the hot blood trail down on my skin, if I have my eyesight back I bet I can see bloody footprints behind me.

I don't know how long I've been running, I can feel my lungs burning, it's hard to breath, I want to stop but my body doesn't listen to me, it hurts...it hurts...please...it HURTS PLEASE HELP! HELP ME!!

I keep screaming for help but all there is only silent and darkness and pain. It feels like forever, I should've become numb now but the pain and fear keep increasing, urgghh I feel something hard and sharp pierce through my chest I can feel the pain when it rip my skin into my flesh and hot blood pouring from it soaking my body, at least it stopped me from my endless running, I don't know whether should I be happy or sad because I stop running yet at the same time I'm going to die, I feel my body fall backwards fall into a pool of water that suddenly appeared behind me.

Drowning all I can see is pitch black, it's cold my body begin to freeze, I can't move my body not even a lift of my finger, feeling my lungs burn from water flooding inside, suffocating me, I can feel my consciousness fading away 'ah... so this is how death feels like, it's painful yet peaceful, I can finally end this suffering'

Suddenly it become bright, my eyes burn trying to adjust to the brightness, once it adjusted I see a round lamp at the ceiling, the water's gone no burning in my lungs instead I feel warm and soft at my back, moving my hands feeling it I realize I'm laying down on top of bed thinking it was all a dream but feels something was off frowning I'm trying to figure it out 'tha- it's not the ceiling in my room!' my eyes widen and I quickly rise up from bed, eyes darting around the room only to see white all over the place.

There's no window, the room is empty only a single white bed in the middle, realizing something I quickly check my body for wounds I heave a sigh of relief when there's no wounds "Thank Go-" I gasped and put my right hand to my mouth "I-I can talk?!" Feeling happy I shuffle out of bed, TAP 'hmm?' I look down to see I'm wearing black dress shoes dark pants and white pajama top, feeling weird I walk around the room searching for a way out.

After searching nook and cranny I didn't found any, sighing I turn around and shocked to see a big mirror on wall "Wha- it wasn't here before..." I recall it was an empty space before, but now there's wall and mirror I hesitantly approaching the mirror until my face almost touch it seeing my reflection I can see how pale my face just like porcelain, dark eye bags, eyes bloodshot, hair sticking out all over.

'I look like a-' I jumped backwards terrified when I see my reflection smiling at me, I'm petrified watching my reflection turn around walking towards the bed in the center of the white room that looks like a hospital ward. I don't know what should I call 'him'? 'I'? 'it?' I stick to it since it's not me, it's only my reflection, it grab the pillow and start swaying it like a maniac making the feathers inside fly raining down making him looks like an angel in distress.

I saw a door immediately I turn my head to see the door behind me only to disappointed when there's nothing behind me, turning back I see Taehyung sitting on the bed with it smiling but my reflection only have stone face, suddenly to my horror it launched itself to Taehyung "no no no no..." it's strangling my best friend on the floor "NO! STOP!!" banging the mirror with my barehand I tries to stop my reflection.

It still strangling him, Taehyung struggling to break away but it's futile "STOP IT YOU MONSTER!!!" It lift his right hand and start punching him continuously "NOOO TAEEE!!!" I keep banging the mirror hard I can hear the mirror crack, it then dug his fingers into Taehyung eye socket and gauge his eye out, blood spilling out splattering into the floor as Taehyung thrashing on the floor holding his empty socket "AAAAAAHHHHH" I screamed my lung off while pounding the mirror cracking it until it shatter.

Huff huff

The mirror shattered into pieces the reflection back to normal all I can see is my reflections in those pieces of glasses, I feel something streaming down from my hands, looking down I see my hands bleeding and blood dripping down, after the rush of adrenaline gone the pain start rushing in, I drop down to my knees as I feel pain on my hands, I bite my lips holding my screams, I can see shards of glasses glistening under the light inside the wound.

Suddenly the lights flickering and I hear something from my back at the corner of the room, I feel goosebumps all over my body as the sound getting closer and closer and closer, I smell a very strong stench of rotten meat making my stomach all queasy.

Cold sweat running down my face and neck, body shaking, I stiffened when the sound stop, I can feel it presence on my back, I slowly moves my eyes to the side looking at the shards scattered on the floor trying to see the one behind me.

I was terrified, bile starting to rush to my throat when I see the creature, it has no form only a big lump of skinned of multiple humans, I can't figure the gender, they all lumped together into a sack of red and rotten big lump of meat, I can see their intestines warped around some are hanging, some heads have intact organs while some are empty, I can see brains on some of the heads, then all their eyes return my gaze through mirror, I shivered and scream as they start to move closer towards me and opens their mouths to devour me.

I press my back to the broken mirror as I have nowhere to escape, tears building up my eyes, my body shaking and fears consuming my heart, knees giving up as I slid down too scared to stand, I lost hope as it close only inches apart, I feel a cold hand wrapped around my wrist, I look around to see a muscular hand grab my wrist from the mirror, I scream and try to pull my hand only to find the mysterious hand tighten it's grip, I can feel the monster breath on my hair, I turn my head slowly to see an open mouth right in-front of my face, I feel a tear streams down my cheek then suddenly I feel another hand wrapped around my waist and pull me backwards into the mirror.

"JIMIN! WAKE UP!" I open my eyes and get up to see hyung with worried and terrified face "hyung I-" before I finish my sentence I remembered the occurrence I went through and I sprint towards the bathroom, opening the door I make my way to the toilet drop down and vomits.

I hear hyung coming to me as I'm vomiting, he sit down beside me and rubs my back with shaky hand. After there's nothing left to vomit I lean back and rest my head to his shoulder even though I still feel queasy in my stomach and pounding in my head. Hyung didn't say anything just hugging me from behind while rubbing my hands gently with his thumb.

Author note : well that was intense, I'm very sorry Jimin, I tortured you again 😭. Also why did Jimin get nightmare, does it have to do with the mysterious book from library? and whose hands was the one who saved Jimin from the monster, is he bad or good?
