Hogwarts/The Sorting Ceremony

The train came to a stop, "we must be here!" Lucy smiled.  Aimi looked out of the window with Athena, "It's pitch black, I can barely see the platform"
"well no duh. It's the evening and it's September" Alex said. Aimi groaned and glared at Alex.  Aimi put Athena in her small, glassed cage (because Athena was a small baby corn snake).

Everyone got off the train and onto the platform. Everyone, including Aimi, Alex, Lucy and Clemont, was in their school uniform.

Everyone got onto the carriages to the school.

The castle was so big that it was unbelievable.

Everyone in the other years walked up the stairs before the first years. When the first years finally got up the marble stairs, there was a professor there by some big doors that potentially lead to the great hall. "Welcome to Hogwarts,"  The professor spoke, "now, I'm a few moments you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now while you're here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you points. Any rule-breaking and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points wins the house cup. The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." Said the professor then walked into the great hall.

The students chatted amongst themselves. Lucy, Clement, Alex and Aimi all spoke to each other about what house they wanted to be in before a student with the same colour hair as Alex and the same colour eyes walked in front of them and said, "so what they said on the train was true, then? The daughter of the most dangerous dark wizard of all time has come to Hogwarts- Aimi Grindelwald" the boy smirked and some students began to whisper, "I'm Levi Malfoy" the boy said. Alex covered his face with his jumper and groaned. Lucy and Clement glared at him, "how about you go along with your business, Malfoy." Lucy spat. Levi glared at Levi then looked at Aimi, "I'm sure with those sods out of the way, you won't have to worry about falling behind," he put his hand out, "I can show you a great way to success and there's no doubt you'll be in Slytherin." Aimi looked at his hand then looked at him straight in the eyes with a bored face, "I didn't come to Hogwarts to become the second most dangerous dark wizard. I don't want to be seen as my father's daughter, I don't want to be seen as a dangerous person so I'm going to put down your invitation." Aimi smiled passive aggressively at him. Levi frowned then walked off. "I hate him..." Alex mumbled, taking his jumper off his face. "Who is he exactly?" Aimi asked her three friends. "Levi Malfoy, Alex's older twin brother. I myself have a younger sister and a younger brother and two older brothers with me stuck in the middle of it and Clemont himself has two younger sisters that are twins" Lucy explained. "Oh... I'm an only child..." Aimi mumbled. Alex snickered slightly. Lucy nudged him in the arm. "I don't know how it feels to have a bunch of brothers and sisters..."

The professor came back out to the students, "we're ready for you now. Follow me." All first years followed the professor to the front of the great hall. They all stopped. At the top of the small wooden step, in front of the teacher's table, were an old hat and a stool. "Now, before we begin, Professor Black would like to say a few words." The professor said before the headmaster stood up. "I have a few start-of-term notices I wish to announce. The first years, please note that the Dark Forest is strictly forbidden to all students. Thank you" The professor sat down.
The other professor who lead them in held out a scroll looking thing, "when I call your name, you will come forth. I shall place the Sorting Hat on your head and you will be sorted into your houses."

"Lucy Weasley" The professor called out. Lucy held her breath then let out a sigh and was the first to come up. She sat on the stool and the professor placed the sorting hat on her head, "another Weasley eh? gryffindor!"The hat called out. There was a loud applause as Lucy jumped up with a smile on her face and sat next to one of her older brothers on the Gryffindor table. "Clemont Potter" The professor called out. Clemont got up and sat at on the stool. "Hmmm... Gryffindor!" The hat was taken off his head as Clemont got up with an awkward smile on his face. He looked at his friends then sat next to Lucy on the Gryffindor table. "Levi Malfoy" Alex's brother stood up and sat on the chair. The hat was barely placed on his head when the hat called out "Slytherin!" Levi smirked as he walked down to the Slytherin table. "Alexis Malfoy" Alex sighed as he got up and sat on the stool. The hat was placed on his head "Slytherin!" The hat called out. "Great..." Alex mumbled as he went to sit at the Slytherin table.

Lots of other people were called out before Aimi was. "Aimi Grindelwald" Aimi went up and sat on the Stool. The hat was placed on her head. "Lots of Leadership and courage? A perfect fit for Slytherin yet a mind plentiful of acceptance, creativity, loyalty, hard-working and bravery..." the hat took up about 8 minutes to decide what house she should be in. The hat then decided "Slytherin!" Aimi sighed but smiled a little as she sat next to Alex at the Slytherin table.
