This is Nathan's point of view from the previous chapter.
I walked through the dark campus to clear my mind, Brooke had accidentally rammed her stupid drone right into my face, giving me a black-eye and a split lip. I noticed another flashlight across the campus, I pulled the hood to my sweater over my head and hurriedly walked toward the boys dormitory. I caught sight of the other person, she must've been new or something if she was out this late. I watched her for a minute or two, she moved gracefully through the darkness of night. The overhead lights shined on her medium length brown locks, the cold fall air made her freckled cheeks turn a light hue of red. She was incredibly focused on the fountain, probably making sure she doesn't fall in or something. I hurried back to my dorm when she turned her head slightly, fearing she'd catch me staring.
I fell back onto my bed, staring up at the grey ceiling. I kept thinking about her, I wonder what her name was or where she came from. It was unusual for me to do this, I didn't understand my sudden obsession with her. I closed my eyes, letting sleep wash over me.

I stood, unable to move in the bright red room. I felt dirty, I couldn't really see if my jeans were torn or not but I could feel air blow against uncovered skin on my legs. I tasted blood and felt a warm liquid run down my face, a stinging pain was in my hands and the rest of my body. Then, I saw her, the girl from tonight, She wore a white sundress and she was barefoot. A ring of sunflowers and roses sat on top of her head, hugging the brown hair. She had big brown eyes that were filled with teenage innocence. Her lips were chapped and lightly bleeding, possibly from chewing on them. It looked like she could not move either.

I woke up to my alarm going off, I sat up and rubbed at my good eye. That dream was really weird.. I stood and got dressed for the day, I headed out the double doors of the dormitories and started for the school. I saw the girl from last night and my dream, she was walking with Kate Marsh. weird.
The first bell rang, I got kicked out of class for going on my phone after five minutes of class starting. I walked down the empty halls to Principal Wells' office, I was pretty pissed off. Then, I saw her, still with Kate. I stopped across the hall from them and stared for a bit before Kate spoke up "Morning, Nathan." She smiled at me "fuck off, rabbit girl." I waved my hand at her in anger before returning to my walk to the office "Do you know his deal?" I heard the girl with Kate say before heading into the office.
I sat in my last period class, listening to the teacher read about the lessons for the rest of the week. When the bell rang, I headed for the dorms. I heard Kate and the girl making plans to meet at Two Whales at five for dinner. I decided I would show up a few minutes after them. I walked to my dorm and started on a project for my photography class.
