Chapter 4 ~ Small Ones

(Okay, so I've time skipped through 5 moons time) (K/N) - Kit name

You stared down at the three tiny kits. Your kits. Longtail sat beside your head, his tail wrapped neatly around his paws. One kit, a dark (F/C) she-kit, tumbled around you. "I think we should name her (K/N#1). She looks exactly like you, (W/N)" Longtail purred. You murmured your agreement. "Sounds wonderful." "And this one: How about his name be (K/N#2)?" Longtail commented. The pale tom-kit was curled in a tight ball at your belly. He had tiny, thin black stripes. The last kit, a tom with pale fur and (F/C) patches was batting at a leaf. "His name should be (K/N#3)" You announced. "That's a very handsome name" Longtail mewed. You purred, briskly licking (K/N#2). "Longtail!" Graystripe called. "I need you to go out on a border patrol with Mousefur, Thornclaw, and Ashfur." Longtail drew his lips back in a silent snarl. "Mouse-brained deputy. Whitestorm was much more understanding of family" He hissed. (K/N#3) squealed with surprise, huddling up to (K/N#1) and (K/N#2). "Longtail, you've frightened them!!" You exclaimed. He lowered his, guilt brimming his mew, as he said, "I'm sorry, (W/N), and my wonderful, beautiful kits." You nuzzled his cheek. "Be safe, my love" You muttered. He nodded, affectionately running his muzzle along yours, before leaving the nursery. "Yea, whatever, Graystripe. Where?" You heard him ask. "Along the RiverClan border, please. Sandstorm reported RiverClan scent around Sunning Rocks again. Check it out" Graystripe answered. There was the sound of pawsteps, as he went to join the patrol. "Please, StarClan, don't let it be a trap" You sent a quiet prayer to StarClan.

As your kits grew to be (K/W/N#1), (K/W/N#2) and (K/W/N#3), your two toms grew very handsome, like Longtail, and your she-cat, very beautiful, like you. (K/W/N#1) became mates with a tom named Weaselfoot, who had a dark brown pelt. (K/W/N#2) ended up with a she-cat from ShadowClan named Owlflight. They had two kits together, putting aside their Clans' differences. The kits were named Shrewkit, a light brown tom that looked like Owlflight, and Digkit, a pale tom with dark brown patches. (K/W/N#3) got with Flightwing, a silver-and-white she-cat. Over time, the two had kits of their own: Furzekit, a black she-kit; Flamekit, an orange tom; Curledkit, a silver she-kit with curly fur; and Rosekit, a pale she-kit with thin (F/C) stripes.

Shrewkit became Shrewnose.
Digkit became Digfoot.
Furzekit became Furzetail.
Flamekit became Flameheart.
Curledkit became Curledfur.
Rosekit became Roseflower.
