"Beep! Beep! Beep!" My alarm went. Ugh. Monday. I went to my dry erase calendar. I saw there was only 3 weeks left of school.
"You can do this you've done it for 10 years you can do it for 3 more weeks. Easy." Except it really wasn't. These next couple weeks would be hard core studying and finals. I looked at my clock. It was 6:40. Ugh. I realized I actually had to start getting ready.
At 7:10 my dad, my sister and I were walking out the door. We got in the car and set off for our hell holes. My sister was still in elementary school I was in high school. We stopped at her school first, Bradford Elementary.
"Bye. Love you. Be good." My dad said
"Bye." I repeated
"Bye." My sister mumbled closing the door.
My school was next. My dad turned right on Huckleville lane. It was my favorite road, or lane I guess. It was so pretty and relaxing with its green weaping willows and it's yellow honeysuckles it was just so perfect. It always mentally prepared me for all the drama and stress of school. It's like someone's morning coffee. Ugh I thought. The beautiful trees had turned into unpleasant faces of the people I call peers.
" Bye " I said getting out of the car
" Bye. Love you. Be-" My dad said before I cut him off by closing the door. He said the same thing to my sister and me every morning. I walked into the school. I saw a back but not any back. A strong, lean, muscular, captain of the boys basketball team kind of back. Danny. So dreamy. I knew I never had a chance with him, well maybe I did but a girl can still dream right! He turned around. "Shit!" I thought. I looked down at my nails. I knew he was going to talk to me. "Ahhh!" I thought. He came up to me.
" Hey." He said
" Oh hi Danny! I didn't see you there I was looking at my nails. Do they seem weird to you? I think the-"
" Can I asked you something?" He cut me off.
" Sure." I said flashing a smile.
