"Uh, um, are you busy this Saturday?"
He asked shyly
"No." I smiled.
"Well, um , do you want to go to a movie with me?"
"Uh, sure!" I said confidently but I was really screaming inside.
"Uh, cool." He said. " Here's my number. Text me what time is best for you." He then smiled and turned away. Something didn't seem right though. Why would a guy like that go for a girl like me?

I went to my locker still in total shock.
"Hey!" My best friend Nancy said.
"Oh hey." I said back
"Soooo what's up?"
"Oh you know nothing!" I giggled
" Wait was that a giggle? I didn't say anything funny and you don't look tired and you know how you giggle when your tired." Avery Maree Scott are you hiding something from me?" She questioned.
She knew me to well. Should I tell her though? She was a big gossiper and I know that once you get caught dating or even talking to Danny you will get hunted down but every girl in this school who wants to get with him.
Danny was a freshman like me, which makes it weird that some older people like him. What was I getting myself into? This would be just like the time in 5th grade where it took 2 hours for the whole school to know I was dating Andy.
"Nothing just a famous person followed me on Instagram last night and I was just thinking about him." I admitted. I was telling the truth, though. Randy Frost, a famous photographer, who had 37k, followed me.
"Really? I love him! Remember that one post of his that got 36k likes? I love that post. I can't believe..."
I zoned her out. I was to worried about Danny. Why me?
