Chapter 4-"New Home"

Rainy's Pov

I started to dance a little in my seat when I heard a really good song playing through the speakers. "You like that song?" Daddy asked watching me do my weird dances. I nodded smiling. "You sure are my child." I heard him mumble. I looked out the window and watched all the big houses past by. I wonder what life like with my new daddy is going to be like. Hopefully It'll be better then how Darien was treating me.

My eyes started to flutter close since a sudden sleepiness came over me. I felt Daddy pick me up and put me in his arms. I felt safe with his arms wrapped around me and my head laying down on his chest. I furrowed my eyebrows when I heard a thumping sounding inside of just chest. Does he have something in there. I poked the area lightly.

"Baby girl why are you poking my chest?" Daddy asked giggling. I let out a yawn and spoke tiredly, "Theres something in there. It's really loud." I complained covering the loud spot with my hand and laying on my hand. Daddy just laughed lightly an rubbed my back causing me to drift to sleep.

I woke up to notice that I was in a big purple bed with white dots on it. I sat up and looked around the unfamiliar room. Where's daddy? I got out of the bed a opened the door to see an empty hallway. "Daddy?" I called out walking through the halls. "D-Ahhh!!" I screamed when I saw a scream mask come out and screamed boo. "RAINY!" I heard Daddy's voice call.

Tears started to fall down my eyes as I turned away from the scream mask. "Babygirl you ok?" Daddy said picking me off and setting me on his hip. "Chris take the mask off!" daddy said sternly.
The guy took his mask off and sighed. "Sorry man I didn't know it would scare her that bad." he apologized.

I liked the way he talked it was funny Daddy wiped away my tears with his thumb and kissed me on the cheek. "She's 6 of course she's gonna get scared." Daddy said shaking his head. "Sorry man I won't do it again." A giggle left my lips from the way he talked.

They turned they're attention towards since I was giggling. "You have a funny voice." I said through my giggles. Daddy and Chris laughed lightly. "Why thank you Ms. Rainy. See Mike she likes me." Daddy laughed and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah yeah but no more scaring." Daddy said picking up the scream mask and holding it in his hand. Chris groaned but agreed. "Come on baby girl let's get you fed I want you to meet some people." I nodded an laid my head on his shoulder. Chris followed us into the kitchen and I saw two woman in the house.

One was young and she had brown hair and dark blue eyes. The other woman wore an apron and she look much older probably In her 40's. The older woman gave me a warm smile and the young one looked at me funny. "Lauren. Pam this is Rainy my beautiful princess." Daddy said kissing my cheek. I smiled at both of them and The older woman walked up to us with a smile.

"Hi Rainy I'm Pam. Wow Michael she has your eyes." Pam said looking at both of us with smiles. I liked Pam she seemed nice. "Thanks Pam. Lauren aren't you going to say something." She just looked at me and shook her head before walking out. I furrowed my eyebrows. "Be right back Pam can you watch rainy?" Pam nodded and took me out of Michael's arms as he walked out.

"You can walk right?" Pam asked walking to the stove. I nodded. "Good because I'm getting old and my back isn't like it used to be." I giggled and sat down on a tall stool that was in front of a long counter. "So how's it been so far living with Daddy Michael?" Pam asked stirring something in a pot and looking back at me.

"It's been good. Chris scared me though." I said pointing to Chris who had his head stuffed in the fridge. "Let me guess was it the scream mask?" She asked. I nodded and giggled when she made a face like she was going to sleep. "He needs to come up with better ones but not use them on you." She said the last part directing it towards chris.

"Yeah yeah Pam just beat it!" Chris said with a mouth full of chicken. Me and pan started to laughed when he started doing a impression of daddy's dancing. Everyone else is so nice why isn't Lauren?
