I didn't want to go home but I had to for the sake of my dad. He must have been worried sick. But the one thing I'll be most worried about is having to give an explanation to my father at home and Scott at school. Oh my God! I just wanna get in bed and snuggle up into Derek's arm and just sleep. Something I haven't done in 2 weeks.

Derek...

Derek.

Just the thought of him makes me want to burst into tears and scream into the sky. Why does love make you so happy yet so extremely sad at the same time that you can't control your feelings.

By the time I was able to render my home in the distance, I saw Derek leaning on his Camaro waiting for something or someone. My mind went off into different reasons why he would ever want to see my wretched face again. He's here to tell me off. He's waiting for someone who just casually wanted to meet with him in front of my house. Oh what the hell. We all know he's here to tell me off and to watch me break down in front of him.

Derek glanced over his shoulder and noticed me.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

He began to walk towards me and I looked at the ground from embarrassment so I couldn't really see where I was going. Before I knew it, my chin was being raised and a soft kiss was planted on my lips. The kiss was long and our heart beats suddenly synced. I placed my hands on both sides of his face just so I can feel that lovely stubble that I've missed so much.

Our lips slowly detached and I was surprised to find a smiling Derek staring right into my eyes. "So... so you don't hate me?" I stuttered out. "Yes," He sighed, "But I love you so much that it's out of the question. And I can't stand not seeing your stupid cute face." I smiled because there was the Derek I know and love. "Derek, I've realized something that doesn't happen between our type of supernatural beings and I don't how you'll react--"

"We are each other's mates. I realized this when it came to the point where it was physically painful for me to stay away from you." Derek said, stopping me from word-vomiting all over the conversation.

He walked me to the front door and I said, "I think it's time for you to re-meet my father." Derek looked at the door, leaned over to me, kissed me on the cheek, and whispered, "Bring it on."

I let out a chuckle to finally look him in the face and say what I've wanted to since this whole crazy situation.

"I love you sourwolf."
