Jungkook was awoken by a loud noise from outside. He grabbed his phone from where it remained next to him in bed and drowsily checked the time. 12:08 PM. A smile overtook the boy's features when he remembered it was the weekend. The university had given them Friday off because it was a teacher work day, or something along those lines. All Jungkook cared about was the fact that weekends meant a lot of time with Taehyung. Jungkook begin to sit up before realizing Taehyung was in his arms. He looked down and discovered his arm wrapped around Taehyung's small waist. The boy was curled into Jungkook's side.

Jungkook tossed his phone next to him on the bed. The boy wanted nothing more than to keep holding Taehyung while they slept. But he wanted to make his friend breakfast. Jungkook gently laid Taehyung's head on the pillow and removed his arm. He got out of the soft bed and tossed on a white tshirt and some gray and black joggers he found in the closet. Of course, both were Taehyung's. Jungkook went downstairs to begin cooking.

Not much later, Jungkook was startled by a voice behind him in the kitchen doorway. He turned and was greeting by Taehyung dressed in similar joggers and an oversized red sweatshirt. Jungkook's sweatshirt. The boy's heart skipped a beat realizing he had that sweatshirt in his car the previous day. Taehyung must of picked it up with the intent of wearing it. The thought made Jungkook blush.

"You look cute. Come here, I'm making breakfast," Jungkook murmered to Taehyung.

"Oh, thank you! And s-so do you. You look nice."

A brief silence overtook the air before Taehyung broke it.

"Did you have any specific plans for today? We can just watch tv if you want."

"I'm kind of up for just lounging and watching tv. I'll get you some water."

Taehyung nodded and went to make himself comfortable on the couch. Moments later, Jungkook returned to the couch with pancakes and their drinks. He set it all on the table and turned on his side so Taehyung had room to stretch out. They let their legs tangle together and Jungkook found a station that they both enjoyed.

After about 20 minutes, Jungkook noticed Taehyung sit up slightly out of the corner of his eye. He propped himself up on his elbows and looked at Taehyung with a questioning face.

"Everything okay?"

The smaller boy nodded before glancing at his hands. He's acting strange.

"Um...could I sit by you? I know you don't like cuddling, but I just-"

"Tae," Jungkook stopped him. "It's okay."

The boys exchanged a grin before Jungkook sat up and let Taehyung sit on his lap, head resting against his chest. Jungkook softly ran his fingers through the curly brown and blonde hair. He looked down at Taehyung when he shifted to see Jungkook. He noticed the way his eyes sparkled and had an urge to hold him for the rest of his life. Oh my god, I like him so much. He knew he couldn't deny this emotion that squeezed his heart and made him dizzy every time his friend's eyes sparkled. He was brought out of the rush of thoughts in his mind when he saw Taehyung leaning in. There was no way. Is he actually leaning in to kiss me? Jungkook felt like he was watching all their memories together flash before his eyes. But this was his best friend of nearly 4 years. The one who offered him a home when he needed it and gave him food when he was hungry. The same one who was there through tears and laughter and smiles. Jungkook felt heat rise to his cheeks.

"Wait," he choked out, placing a hand on Taehyung's shoulders. "I can't let you do that."

"Jungkook? I-I thought there was a mutual feeling here."
