The scarlet Hogwarts Express is before you, blowing it's horn and telling you to board, because you know that it leaves at exactly eleven o'clock. You board, and suddenly, you flash back to your very first train ride on this very same train.
You're eleven years old again, scared (or maybe not) clutching your newly-bought want so hard you think it's going to snap. (hopefully it doesn't or you might be in for a bad first year.)
Your task this round is to write about your character's very first train ride aboard the Hogwarts Express. (Or maybe it IS their first train ride.)
You can write about the times before and after (you can include the Sorting, it won't be a round.) as long as you include the flashback(or description) of the train ride.
If you have swearing or violence, please provide a warning before your entry.
NO ONE WILL BE ELIMINATED THIS ROUND. Use this round to get a good footing, and make allies. Allies can help you when you're about to be eliminated and it's much more fun to write with friends.
Entries are due: TUESDAY, JULY 8TH at MIDNIGHT of CENTRAL TIME. If you do not hand in your entry by the due date, do not hand in at all, or hand in late, you will have a three point deduction taken off of your final score.
ALSO just because you wrote down a certain Quidditch position doesn't mean that's the position your character will play. The positions you get will be based on your first round scores. The ones with higher scores will have the first 'pick' of positions, and the ones with lower scores will get what is left. There will be four positions: Seeker, Chaser, Beater, and Keeper.
