You've always been so good for this world,
full with forgiveness
but no regrets or hate.
Always tried to see the best in people
even if there wasn't anything good to find.
Moving on its hard,
every now and then
I find myself
thinking about your smile
and all the good times we used to have.
Once I found myself thinking,
in a starry night,
if you're happy where you are
'cause it's getting harder for me
when you are so far.
Many mistakes I've made
none of them I used to regret
but letting you go
made me thinking about the choices I've made.
But I understand that our time is up
and people come and go,
no one and nothing is forever
unless you're choosing with your heart
every single day,
I understand that our time is up
because we loved each other
and hold each other as tight and long as we could,
I understand that our time is up
because the world is too big
to try to stop your mind
and your soul.
I understand that our time is up
and it's fine with me
because I know you loved in the most sincere kind-of-way
and not everybody knows how to do it.
