"That was hell" Emily stated as she plopped down onto the passenger seat of Julian's car. "Tell me about it" juleen mumbled pulling out of the school parking lot. "Hey can we stop at your house real quick?" Juleen asked Emily. "For what?" "Uhh I uh need- uh to use the bathroom and I can't hold it until we get to the mall." Juleen stuttered trying not to give the surprise away. "Oh, yeah that's fine. I could also grab the Starbucks gift card my mom gave me this morning so we could get some at the mall." "Sounds like a plan" Julian smiled at her friend.

"Hi mom I'm home!" Emily called up the stairs so her mom could hear her happily. Today was her day and it being her birthday put her into a good mood. "Hi honey! How was school today?" Emily's mom asked while greeting the two girls in the kitchen. "Same old same old." Emily stated as her and Julian began eating the cake Emily's mom had this morning. "Oh yeah mom by the way, 5 Seconds of Summer is in La for a while and since I'm not going to their concert tomorrow I was wondering if Julian and I could spend the weekend there?" Emily asked with the biggest smile on her face. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about" Mrs. Woods smiled as she walked over to a drawer and pulled out an envelope. "Your father and I talked and for your birthday we thought you might want to spend it front row at your favorite bands concert?" Her mom asked holding up two tickets for tomorrow's show. " ARE YOU SHITTING ME NO WAY!" Emily screamed while running and hugging her mom. "Happy Birthday baby" Emily's mom said while handling her the tickets. "JULIAN IS THIS WHY WE NEEDED TO GO SHOPPING?!" She screamed while turning to her best friend who was also smiling. "Sure is, we're gonna get you an outfit that will for sure catch Luke's eye." Julian laughed into Emily's ear so her mom couldn't hear the joke she made. Emily's cheeks heated up at the thought of being up close to the boys that bring joy into her life. The boys that lifted her sprits through her shit times. They boys that make her proud to wake up in the morning and that leave a huge grin on her face as she lays in bed at night. The boys that bring happy tears to her eyes every time they say how much they love the fam. She wasn't just a "fan", she was part of the family. The family that can't be broken. The family that stays together through all the drama. The family that treat each other as sisters and congratulate one another when someone gets noticed by them. The family that brought many friendships. Emily was happy with her choice of being in the 5sosfam. "I can't believe this is happening" Emily squirmed with excitement. "Okay let's go shopping now Julian! Bye mom thank you again and can you tell dad thank you as well?" Emily said with the same excited tone she's had for the past 5 minutes. "Sure thing honey, and Julian you can sleepover tonight so you two can get up tomorrow and go down to LA early" Mrs. Woods smiled as the girls picked up their purses. "Thanks Mrs.Woods I'll be sure to!" Julian smiled as they walked out of the door. Now to go find something cute that will catch the 4 Australian boy's attention.
