Taj slowly opened her eyes. Her head was pounding and she was in an unfamiliar room. Trying to remember what all went on the night before was putting too much pressure on her head. She just wanted to go back to sleep and wake up perfectly fine. She looked around the strange room trying to figure out exactly where she was. As she sat up she realized that she had nothing but her boxers and a sports bra on.

What the hell happened last night?  She thought to herself as she tried to find any sign of whose room she was in. There was nothing but a 32 inch flat screen on the beautiful veneer dresser on the opposite side of the room. There was a calendar near the door with the 5th of the month circled.

Wait, today is the 5th… Taj realized.

The closet doors were closed so she couldn’t see what type of clothes hung inside. A desk with a laptop atop it sat in the corner by a window which was opened just enough to let the morning sun shine in. It looked like a normal bedroom. Taj looked towards the nightstand. 9:46 AM blinked on the digital clock. Taj mustered up what little strength she had and pulled herself out of the king sized bed. Her clothes lay, as if tossed, jus beside her feet. As she grabbed her jeans and slid one leg inside, the door of the bedroom opened.

This was it. This was the moment she would figure out whose room she was in. Taj’s dreads hung in front of her face as she slowly lifted her head from the task of putting on her pants. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Standing in the half open doorway was the goddess from the bathroom at the club. That was the last thing she could clearly remember from last night. A smile spread across Taj’s face as she looked at this beauty before her.

The woman was about 5’5 with an uncanny resemblance to Halle Berry. Her long, flowing hair rested perfectly around her face as her bold and beautiful eyes seemed to pierce right through Taj’s every being. It was almost as if she was looking through her soul. The way this woman looked at her was pure.

The same exact feeling in the bathroom began to creep up on Taj yet again. She was stuck on stupid. Not a single word would escape her lips as this woman looked at her sweetly.

“Well good morning sleepy head” the woman said with a soft smile.

Taj smiled back, “Hey” she managed to get out.

“You were snoring so I decided not to wake you. You must have had some good ass sleep huh?” The woman chuckled as she stepped further into the room.

“Yea, well I love my sleep” Taj replied, still smiling. After a few awkward moments, Taj broke the silence.  “Um, no disrespect miss lady but…. What was your name again?”

“Were you THAT drunk?” The woman smiled, “You were saying it all last night, I’m surprised you don’t remember” Her voice was as soft as cotton.

Taj’s thoughts immediately turned sexual as she internally beat herself up for not remembering a night with the most beautiful women she had ever laid eyes on. Maybe, she thought, if I play my cards right I can get another chance, and this time I WONT forget what all went down.

“Kayla” the goddess said interrupting Taj from her thoughts. “My name is Kayla”

“Oh! That’s right” Taj exclaimed, pretending to remember the girl with no real recollection of who she was or how they met.

Kayla giggled, “Yea, that’s right.” She sat on the bed, “Well, are you hungry?”

“I could eat” Taj said, stomach growling.

“Dee left to go take care of some business so I figured I’d cook for you. It’s the least I could do after last night. It’s in the kitchen whenever you’re ready. I’ll let you get dressed.” Kayla said as she began to leave the room.
