He had locked himself in his room again, not allowing anyone in. Not even Starfire. He was going through another crazy villain obsession and it was a new rival called Lithe.

He was almost as deadly as Slade, probably even worse. And he had defeated the whole team today in battle. Th worst part was that he had left the team half broken. This made Robin angry.

Starfire, who had just finished receiving healing from Raven, floated up to Robin's room.

She carefully knocked on his door but received no answer. She knew he was in there because she could hear him breathing with her enhanced Tamaranean hearing.

"Robin," She called out, "It is I. I was wondering whether you are the okay?"

Silence.

She didn't expect anything less than this cold distancing. She knew she was no exception to this cold treatment. She tried again.

"I understand the frustration you hold with this new foe but we shall get through this together. We have taken down Slade as a team and we shall-"

The door swooshed open and a still bruised Robin stood in front of the Tameranean princess. He had not left his room since they had gotten home so he did not get healed by Raven.

"Starfire, just leave me alone." He gritted his teeth as he refrained himself from holding his injured ribs. Starfire reaches for him, "Robin, you are injured. Allow me to get you medical assistance."

As soon as she touched his hand, he jerked away from her as if she had burned him. A hurt expression fell on her face as her hand went limp by her side.

"Leave!" He ordered her.

"Robin, you are just angry. We shall defeat Lithe together as a team-"

"Don't day his name!" Robin snapped, making Starfire flinch, "Don't you understand? He could have killed us all today and I wasn't ready! I can't afford to make that mistake again!"

"But Robin, you do not have to do it alone. We are your family and we shall assist you and have your back." Starfire told him firmly.

"I can't afford to see you all hurt. I need to do-"

Starfire's eyes grew a shade green and green sparks emitted from her body.

"I am tired of hearing this! I allowed this kind of behavior when we had been dealing with Slade but I shall not allow this to occur with Lithe!" She snapped.

"Don't say his -"

"I do not care what you want anymore! We are a family and I shall never let you suffer the way you did when Slade was alive! You shall first get yourself healed then we shall work on the case as a family!" Starfire's green aura faded as she breathed heavily.

Robin stared at her, the shock evident on his face. He lowered his head in shame then nodded, "You're right. I'm sorry, Star."

Starfire calmed down and she wiped her bangs away from her eyes, "All is forgiven. Now, allow me to escort you to Raven so you may be healed."

She slipped one arm around his waist and pulled his arm around her shoulders as she walked with him towards the common room.

The journey was silent and when the door slid open, they found Raven with her hands over Beastboy's leg as a blue glow slowly healed his leg.

The rest of the team was surprised to find Robin next to Starfire but they were glad that she had gotten him out of his room.

Robin cleared his throat and the team momentarily halted their actions, "Guys, I just wanted to tell you all that I'm sorry for the way I acted. I'm the leader of this team and I let Lithe get to me the same way Slade had. You all helped me defeat Slade once and I know that if we work together again, we can beat Lithe too."

Cyborg smiled, "Robin, you don't know how happy we are to hear you say that."

"Dude, I'm happy that you're not going all psycho obsessed Robin again. He was scary." BeastBoy added but he yelled when Raven pinched his bruise.

"What he means to say," Raven interrupted as Beastboy glared at her as he rubbed his bruise, "we're glad you're not secluding yourself like last time. We're glad you trust us,"

Robin smiled slightly, "It's long overdue."

Starfire sat Robin down on the couch and turned to go attend to Cyborg. Robin grabbed her hand and she looked down at him.

"I trust you," He smiled.

She squeezed his hand and smiled back, "We have your back,"
