Some of you may be wondering who JP and Jay Feather(who have appeared a bit in this book)are. Well, in my next book I will put up on Wattpad, you will meet these two completely sarcastic characters. Several people have read it and said it is phenomenal, (which makes me super happy that people like it .W.) and I hope y'all enjoy it, too. It won't be up for a while because I've decided to finish it before putting it on Wattpad, but here's a little trailer or sneak peek of it. Hope you enjoy. Also, remember to ask questions for the characters. I've only gotten two, and I'd love to see what you all want to know. (Any questions are great, seriously.)

What's causing that damn noise?! I growled in the quiet of my mind. Seriously, what's making it, and where?! There came a fork in the hall, and I went right, as I usually do. I started recording, whispering to my camera every now and then so I didn't feel completely alone. I went through a door, entering a big room that smelled of... old sweat. Pulling out my device, I confirmed the place was free of radiation. I felt Gerber's rubber face, and slightly smiled. Good, my pal's okay. I put my device back, pulling out a gun. This was my laser gun, its juice giving off a dim glow.

The big gym I was in had a wooden floor, the pattern of a certain game-court painted on it. Metal beams held the ceiling up high above, keeping it from collapsing. Ropes hung from hooks that were attached to some beams. A few rubber balls were also trapped above in pinched places. The groan of metal came again, this time extremely close; on one of the beams, to be exact. Without hesitation, I shot one of the beams, the laser creating a charred circle on the rusting iron. The sound came again, to my right, and I shot there. I could feel wind rush past my face, cold and putrid, and the sound of something landing behind me echoed in the gym. Trembling, I slowly turned.

First, I saw a blue tail. Next, I saw two glowing horns and eyes. Then, I could make out a body crouched on the floor, with two feathery wings on its back. I didn't shine my light on it, for fear that the mutant was terrible to look at or it would attack me. I couldn't see its face, or what clothes it wore, or if it was injured; I didn't necessarily care, either. As a warning, I shot my laser at its feet, then dashed out of the gym. When I was far enough, I turned, hearing the groan of metal again.

"Oh... gosh..." I huffed, out of breath. "Why... Why is it here?..."

The sound of aching metal echoed through the halls, making me start to run again. The scent of puke infested the learning institution, causing me to gag. When I was out of breath, I stopped and put my hands on my knees, bending over and gulping in icy air. My camera was at twenty percent, beeping to warn me. I shooshed it, looking ahead of me. In a way, it was like a horror projector-film. There was a trophy case, lit up by solar powered lights, and casting an eerie glow on the tiled floors. The trophies shimmered with their gold, silver, and bronze colors. The case was dusty. It sat twenty feet away from my darkened hiding spot.

The stench of undigested lunch intensified, followed by the echoes of heavy footsteps. I held my breath, flipping off my camera's light.

A silhouette came into view, blocking the award case. It was at least 7'9", with broad shoulders and horns that curved forward. The horns were as long as my hand, and as thick as my calf. The wings on its back were the size of a head pillow. The tail was long and bushy. It stared forward, motionless.

A whimper squeezed past my lips. The whimper of pure terror. I didn't mean for it to come out; it just did! I slapped my hand over my mouth, but it was too late. The sound spilled across the floors and walls, floating to the mutant. Its head jerked to face me, glowing blue eyes jabbing into my spirit.

Then it began to run...

At me.

.W. Mwahahaha I torture you with cliffhangers!!! My friend Charitie was so sick of all the cliffhangers that she decided to wait until the book was done before she picked it up and read it. So, anyway, that was chapter 8 of Humanoid-Nuclear. Hope you enjoyed that little blurb, there. JP is the main character (not ME like my grandpa, one of my friends, and 5th grade teacher keep thinking!!!!), and Jay Feather is the mysterious mutant you will get to know and love soon. I really hope you enjoyed this little bit, and I hope you guys have some questions for these two. They'd love to answer them!!!! Anyway, that's all for now, love you all, and as my buddy emmalikes_books likes to say, I'll cherish you all. Bye bye!!!
