33-"When they came to a place called The Skull, they nailed him to the cross. And the criminals were also crucified--one on his right and one on his left.
34-Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots."-Luke 23:33-34
Jesus (God the Son) was being killed painfully and embarrassingly, yet he still asked God the Father to forgive his murderers. The people killing him were trying to mock him, they would call him king of the Jews sarcastically and spit on him. Isn't it just AMAZING that he still loved them? That is what Love should look like.
