~ * Deandra's POV * ~
I woke up in a room that I didn't recognize. The light bulb in the middle of the ceiling bounced off the white walls making my eyes burn. Scanning the room I noticed I was attached to tubes that lead from my arms and face to this strange machine. It then struck me. I was in the hospital.
But what was I doing here?
The noise of someone shifting next to me snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at the person. He had dark brown hair, grey eyes and soft pink lips. Saying that he was cute would be an understatement, but I didn't know who he was. I stayed wacthing him for a moment. He must have felt my eyes on him and looked up at me.
"Your awake!" He said with excitement that wasn't hard to miss. He reached out to hold my hand and I pulled away. He looked at me with a confused expression.
"D, what's wrong? Why don't you want me to touch you?"
D?? Who's D?
I looked up at this stranger in my hospital room and asked, " Who is D?, who are you?"
He got up from his chair, and started pacing the room, mumbling words to himself. He ran his hands through is hair multiple times before speaking up.
"Deandra, stop playing games with me"
"I'm sorry but I don't know who that is" I spoke in a voice that was barley audible. He continued pacing the room back and forth and I watched him. As he paced aimlessly around, he started yelling things.
"This doesn't make any sense. It makes no damn sense!" He turned to face me from the far end of the room, wacthing me in the middle of my eyes.
"You have to remember D. You just have to. Remeber all the good times" He started moving closer to the chair next to the bed. "Don't you remeber how we used to go out every Friday for ice-cream? I took you to Crazy Joe's because that's where we first met. Don't you remember?" He held onto the arm of the chair.
"Remeber!" He suddenly yelled, looking directly in my eyes. His sudden outburst caused silent tears to stream down my face. Just then a doctor opened the door.
Not wanting the doctor to see my tears, I wiped them quickly with the back of my hand. No that my eyes where cleansed of the tears, I could see that his name tag read 'Dr. Matthews'. Before Dr. Matthews could say anything, the stranger rushed up to him and started speaking.
"Doctor, she cant remeber who I am. Heck she doesn't even know her name!" He started yelling. "Fix her! Bring her back to me!"
"Calm down Alex." The doctor said. "We will do all that we can to bring her back"
So his name was Alex......
They both looked at me with worried expression on their faces and faced each other. They were talking amongst themselves. There voices were so low that I couldn't hear a word they were saying. After a minute or two, the boy, whose name was Alex, left the room.
The doctor made his way towards me and sat on the chair next to the bed.
"Hey" he said.
"Hi" I replied.
"What's your name?" I sat and thought for a while.
" I don't know.."
" Don't you remember anything at all? Anything that happened with Andrew?"
That name. I knew that name all too well. And just by hearing that name, a thousand memories flooded my brain. Suddenly, I knew it all.
