~*~Becca's POV~*~
Entering the school grounds without my best friend has been hard these past couple of days. It has been hard knowing that she might not even be coming back to school. But if I keep praying for her she will get better.
One person I need to pray for though is Alex. He's taken this the hardest so far. Ever since he found out about Deandra, he stopped hanging around his crowd of people. And he never comes to school with a colour other than black. I felt kinda sorry for him. I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice by two friends, Jaida and Kim, standing by my locker.
"Hey" I said.
"Hey.." Jaida spoke up. " are you ok, because you've been staring into space for a while now"
"Yeah, you look sad" Kim continued, " unless you were thinking about food."
I smiled at how well they knew me. They moved here the same day that Deandra was hospitalized and ever since, they've been my best friends. Well, except for Dede. When is she coming back?
I forced a smile, reassuring them that I was alright. I could see the suspicion on their face but they didn't push into it. We walked quietly to our homeroom classes. They were in the homeroom class next to mine, so we only got to talk at lunch or during the classes we have together. We parted ways as we approached our homerooms. As usual, I was the first person in class since the bell hadn't rung yet. It would normally be Deandra and I but...Why am I thinking about her so much today? Just then, the bell rang and the same old faces of my classmates came rushing in.
Little did I know that today would be way different.....

Earlier that morning.....
"Mom do I seriously have to go to school" I whined
She fixed me with a stare that could stop Isis in there tracks.
"Dad, a little help here"
"Sorry pumpkin," he said whilst looking up from his newspaper. " I cant argue with your mother"
I groaned in annoyance and defeat. I really didn't want to go to school and face the rest of the student body. They are all full of gossip. If I'm lucky, I can avoid being on the school paper.
"Just think," my mother said "you'll get to see Alex and Becca again."
With that in mind, I rushed upstairs, got dressed and practically ran out the door, shouting a good bye to my parents who stood laughing in the kitchen. I opened the garage door with my keys and got into my brand new BMW. I turned the radio on, hoping that it would calm my fears. So far, as Girls Like You was playing on the radio, it seemed to be working.
Within no time, I was in the school parking lot. My heart beat suddenly pick up pace as I pulled into a parking space and the curious eyes of the students were watching me. They obviously couldn't tell it was be due to the tints on my vehicle. I debated whether I should enter the school or not.
In the end, I chose to wait for the bell to ring. I waited five minutes after the bell rang before I shut off the engine and took a step outside my vehicle and into the school. It felt a little weird to be back after my incident. Would they treat me the same? What if I started getting bullied?
No..... You can't think that way
I headed straight for the office. When I got their, Principle Adams and his secretary greeted me with pleasant smiles on their faces. They gave me my schedule and I walked down the hall to my homeroom class. I had homeroom with Becca. I paused in front of the door taking deep breaths before I opened it.

Well.......before you kill me for not updating and writing a stupid chapter let me explain. IT WAS SCHOOL'S FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
