~*Deandra's POV*~
*flashback*
I sat at my desk with the math book wide open. Ugh! I hate math, but the strange thing is, I'm good and it.
I desperately waited for something to or someone distract me. I listened to music, went to the washroom several times and even went downstairs to get a snack. Right now I was bouncing a ball on the floor of my room. I need to get out of this house ASAP.
As if someone heard my prayers, my phone began vibrating next to me. I looked at the caller ID and smiled when Andrew's name popped up. I answered the call and brought the phone to my ears.
"Hey baby" he said.
"Hi"
"Are you busy right now?" I looked at my math book and thought for a minute until I decided that homework can wait.
"No I'm not"
"Good" I could hear the smile in his voice. "Meet me outside in 10 and wear something cute and short" He then hung up.
Something cute but short...hmm...what were we going to do? I entered my walk-in-closet and scanned the clothes it contained. My eyes landed on a tight-fight white lace dress that stopped just above my knees.
Perfect
I slipped it on and laced up a white converse I had in the closet before making my way to the mirror. I placed on some light pink lipgloss and eyeliner. I let my long brown hair fall loose, landing on my back and picked up my purse. I stared in the mirror for a minute, making sure I was ready to go. Yup, I thought to myself, definitely ready. Just then I heard a loud honk come from downstairs signaling that Andrew was here. I raced down the steps and found my parents sitting in the living room wacthing Modern Family.
"I'm going out with Andrew. Be back later" I shouted. I heard my mom say something about not coming back too late. I opened the door and found Andrew resting on his car while texting somebody. There was a gently breeze that passed through his blond hair, making it fly. He was wearing a white shirt, black jeans and his black converse. We were kind of matching but looked like more of a model than an average 17 year old boy. As if sensing my presence, he looked up from his phone and watched me, a small smile on his lips as he noticed my dress.
"Hey" he said, making his way towards me and kissing me on the cheek.
"Hi" I replied. I took his hand in mine and we walked towards his car. He opened the door to the passenger's side of the car and gestured for me to go in.
"M'lady" he said with an accent
"What a gentleman" I said whilst we both chuckled. I sat in the car and he closed the door. When he got into the car, he started the engine and zoomed down the road. I watched the blur of trees and buildings pass as we raced down through the streets. I couldn't help but wonder where he was taking me. Mabye we were going on a picnic. Or to the park. But then, I noticed he pulled up into the mall parking lot. He was taking me shopping.
"Your taking me shopping" I asked in a shocked voice.
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh you know...it's just that you hate shopping with me"
"Well today's your lucky day" and with that, we got out of the car and made our way into the mall.
This should be interesting.
Andrew's POV
I watched as she entered the mall, looking excitedly at the stores that seemed to have sales. She entered Forever 21 and I sighed.
Here we go
She roamed the store looking at the clothes they had on sale. After about and hour of roaming and trying on clothes, she decided to buy a denim jacket, a pair of white rip-up jeans, two crop tops, pink and baby blue and a white and black adidas to go with it. Glancing at my phone I realized it was already 3:30
Shit I gotta get moving.
I thought of an excuse to take her back to my place.
"Hey babe, I need to grab some stuff at home before we continue your shopping spree"
I tried not to cringe when I called her babe. Lord knows I can't stand the girl. But she does have an amazing body. I just can't wait to-
"Ok babe" my thoughts were cut off my a smiling Deandra. She gathered her clothes and we walked out of the mall and into the parking lot. Before we reached my car, my phone started buzzing from the back of my jeans. It was David. I answered the call.
"Hey bro" I said it's the phone whilst Deandra looked at me, probably wondering who I was speaking too.
"Yow dude are you guys on your way yet?"I didn't want to make my answer too obvious before she catches onto my plan.
"Yeah well I have to pick up a few things before I head to another mall with her. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees the surprise I have waiting for her" I maintained eye contact with her and saw that her face seemed more relaxed and excited.
"What are you talking about? oh never mind bro I understand" David said whilst chuckling. He can be such an ass at times.
"Well see you around man" I said and hung up the phone without waiting for a response.
" Ready?" I asked Deandra whilst unlocking the vehicle so we can get it. She nodded her head. We got into the vehicle and I reversed out of the parking lot and sped down the road to my house. I looked over and Deandra to see her running her hand through her hair. I quickly switched my gaze from her and focused on the road. In no time, we arrived at my house. We got out of the car and entered the house in silence. As I placed my hand on the handle Deandra spoke up in her God awful voice.
"Isn't it locked?" She said
I chose to ignore that question as we entered the house. I heard the t.v before I even saw the boys scattered all over my living room
Dip shits
"Cough, cough" I tried to get their attention
"Oh hey Drew" spoke David catching the attention of the others "what's up"
I ever so slightly motioned my head to Deandra behind me.
"Hey D" they all said in unison
"Hi guys, can I join you" she said while making her way to the couch and sitting gently on it.
"I'm gonna head upstairs ok?"
She nodded her head and her focus went to the t.v. I made my way upstairs to put the plan into motion. She had no idea what's coming her way
